  1. Got a little update, shes almost ready :bigthumb I tracked my radiator and its coming in tomorrow, Ill see if I can get some vids up by this weekend. This isn't the final color but its going to have to do untill I get some funds together. I/m pretty sure im going to do an R34 GTR bayside blue
  2. Dont really know the name of the color, my powdercoater had it in stock and it worked for me hahaha. I'll be honest, I was concerned with how the blue would look but I was running a huge batch in one color because the price was right. I figured I'd rather have the parts blue than nothing. But in the end I am very happy with how it came out, it looks really nice in person.
  3. Bored at work so I though I would throw up some pictures. They are all from my iphone since I dont have my camera at work. At this point I am waiting on my custom radiator to come in so I can drive the damn thing. random specs: 1971 240z s1 rb25det freshened up a tad nistune ecu q45 tbody 525 cc inj 3" straight pipe turbo back FMIC w/ 3" piping stock turbo for now custom sectioned coilovers 4 piston vented from brake upgrade custom mounts and driveshaft custom fuel tank with new hardlines functional oem gauges poly urethane master bushing kit Loads of powdercoated stuff Prayers at night that the axles will hold for a couple months starting with the car the teardown the pile we were left with... notice the cut springs dangling on the shocks lol powdercoated stuff nasty stuff 3 days of sanding/melting/grinding paint gets you this. Freakin car has 5 layers of paint. the uprising Getting some sunlight This is where the car is at right now... She runs and sounds great but I can only keep it on for like 5 sec since I don't have a rad lol
  4. Just do the rb30 man, whats an inch hahaha
  5. That car rocks, I love what you've done with it.
  6. I think the front end looks amazing as a standalone front end but I'm not to sure if it will look good on the rest of the body. Great job either way though, A+ on creativity lol
  7. Rb20 ecu is easily programmable so that would be your best bet for fuel management once you are ready. Changing the manifold and intercooler wont need a tune so you can roll around on the stock ecu for the time being. Save up for injectors, turbo and a tune. Should get you to 300whp no prob.
  8. I used a 93 quest alternator and all I needed was a spacer to make the bottom pivot part a tight fit and a little half by one inch piece of metal to extend the upper adjustment bolt enough to reach the stock bracket. I don't know if you have tried it or not but you should hold up the alternator to the bracket and see if you can figure something out yourself. Ill see if I can get a pic later today
  9. hes actually almost got it hooked up half a$$ correct lol. for the easiest fix, I would say slap that little filter from the catch tank on the intake manifold side valve cover which is currently going to the catch tank. then move the catch tank to the other side of the engine bay, inline from the exhaust side valve cover fitting to the turbo intake pipe fitting and you done. Leave the U bend hose where it is. in all honesty you have all the parts including the lines to hook it up right, you should just hook it up
  10. beautiful man, If my car looked as nice as the yours BEFORE you started the restoration I would be happy lol
  11. I was on the waiting list for a couple months on nismoparts website untill I canceled the order and called erics, at the time they had 20 people on backorder so hopefully they can work something out. I sure am glad I decided to buy the pan when I did, I feel everyones pain though, I was freaking out when I couldn't find it.
  12. nice setup but what's with the catch tank... it isn't doing much there, turbos still eating the oil.
  13. I was in your guys shoes like 2 months ago, I called erics performance parts from ebay and they had a couple pans and strainers in stock even though they didn't list them on ebay. I don't know if they still have any but its worth emailing or calling them. Just search erics performance parts on google to find their ebay store, good luck guys.
  14. I still have one, $110 shipped with paypal. email me at info@rsspeed.com if you are interested
  15. Series 1 works on any type of motor whether its series 1 or series 2 so buy mine and your good lol. But seriously in a nutshell, if your car has an ignitor chip then its a series 1 motor and if it doesn't then its a series 2. But my statement on the ecu working is true and the series 2 ecu will NOT work on a series 1 motor.
  16. I have a series one rb25det ecu, you can have it for $110 shipped or 100 cash pickup if you are local. I'm not sure what part of california you are in though, I'm near the valley. email me at info@rsspeed.com if you are interested
  17. I would buy this in a heartbeat... i love it!
