  1. Now I want to re-restore my car lol amazing job you have done!
  2. RS Speed

    Nistune

I run a z32 ecu with nistune on my RB powered 240z and I absolutely love it.
  3. I took the tach unit from a 95 240sx and mounted behind the face of the oem gauges. Adjusted the needle (has a pot on back) to read the correct sweep of the datsun gauge and had a beer. You should do the same
  4. I love red on Z's, awesome choice, sometimes I just wish I had shiny paint
  5. Lowered with a matte oem bumper would look killer on your car. Looks like the fenders aren't cut though or it just seems that way. Here's mine 17x8.5 all around with +6 offset. 30mm adapters up front and 25mm in the rear for the flares. so its -24 in the front and -19 in the rear. 235 up front 255 in rear
  6. nice s30 bro luv ur engine

  7. rb20 rear sump pans are almost impossible to find, if you do find one you will need the pickup for that oil pan or you will need to modify your original pickup. Radiator will work if you can get hoses to fit and its not in terrible shape to begin with. The rest I can't really help you with.
  8. I only have one vid, ill try to get it up soon. The land rover is a little side hobby of mine, don't tell anybody but its an RC car . I build scaled down rock crawlers to calm my nerves from working on real cars haha. Im so confused on what to pain this car its killing me, Im torn between r34 gtr bayside blue or just leaving it flat black. I track the car so I want to keep it rugged plus it looks pretty mean in black.
  9. I just had a broken stud 3 days ago on a rb25. Usually the studs get brittle and crack and they really aren't lodged in that hard. I just drilled it and used an easy-out to pull the rest of the broken stud out. No need to tap or anything, just get a new stud.
  10. wow close one, glad you got away bud.
  11. You need to increase the length of the rod that is going from the clutch pedal to the master cylinder. Its threaded into the back of your pedal and held tight with a nut... Loosen the nut and back out the rod until you have proper engagement.
  12. Awesome buy, I got mine for 1800 its wasn't as clean as yours for sure, missing bumpers and interior pieces. Our cars were practically born together, im 11691 10/70 production date. Needless to say ive hacked into my z quite a bit but I felt if I was under the 10000 mark I would have cared more about keeping it original.
  13. the car already has mounts in it, its gonna be a bolt on application... go RB
  14. Heres a base timing map, load scale goes from 1 to 16 on top and rpm is the verticle side. This is a japan spec map so the timing if pretty aggressive. Adjust accordingly to whatever octane, turbo, boost, cr, etc you will be running. Load> L1 L2 L3 L4 L5 L6 L7 L8 L9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 6400 34 49 52 52 50 43 37 35 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 6000 34 49 52 52 50 43 37 35 33 32 31 29 28 28 27 25 5600 34 49 52 52 50 43 36 35 33 31 30 29 28 27 25 23 5200 34 49 52 52 50 42 36 34 32 30 29 28 26 25 24 22 4800 34 49 52 52 50 42 36 34 32 30 29 28 26 25 24 22 4400 36 49 52 52 49 41 35 34 32 31 29 28 27 26 24 23 4000 38 49 52 52 49 41 35 34 32 31 30 29 28 27 25 23 3600 42 49 52 52 49 40 35 34 32 31 30 29 28 27 25 24 3200 40 49 52 51 48 38 36 34 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 23 2800 38 49 52 50 48 37 34 33 31 30 30 29 28 27 26 21 2400 36 48 51 50 47 36 33 31 30 30 29 28 27 26 24 20 2000 34 48 50 49 46 35 31 30 29 29 28 27 26 25 22 13 1600 32 46 49 48 44 32 30 28 28 26 23 20 16 12 10 06 1200 28 38 46 46 40 27 24 21 20 18 13 11 08 07 06 03 0800 24 32 32 32 32 18 16 16 13 12 09 07 05 03 03 00 0400 16 16 16 14 12 10 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 rpm
  15. I can post a base map from a stock rb25det if you like. Ill need a few hours to get to my other computer though.
  16. Main ignition power was one of the wire I listed, so you can run a switched/relayed power to that wire to power the ignition coils. Ecu power wires will power all your engine sensors and ecu. the blue/white stripe will power Idle air control, VTC, o2.
  17. On your s13 there were two plugs near the fuse box(grey and brown) which fed power to all your RB harness, ecu, sensors etc... Take those two plugs and give most of them switched 12v. Give the red (ecu backup) a constant 12v. Use the black/pink to on the ground side of a relay to power a fuel pump. Thats pretty much it. I attached an SR20 to 240sx diagram bellow but it should give you and idea of some wire colors on your 240sx body harness side at least, hope it helps. SR Wire Color ------- KA Wire Color ---------- Function Black / Pink stripe ----- Black / Pink stripe-------- Fuel pump relay - grounds a relay to activate fuel pump Red / Black stripe------ Red / Black stripe ------- ECU relay - powers ecu relay (switched) Black / White stripe ----Black / White stripe------ ECU power (I believe its constant 12v) Black / Yellow stripe --- Black / Yellow stripe ---- Idle air control solenoid power (switched) Brown -----------------Any +12V Switched------O2 sensor power (switched) Red --------------------Red-------------------- ECU backup power (constant) Black / Red Blue / Red-------------- Black / Red stripe--------- Main ignition power (switched) p.s. you might ignore the o2 and idle air control because on the RB harness they are powered by one (blue/white stripe) wire which also powers VTC (give this a switched 12v) Hope the whole sr20 thing isnt confusing you, they usually wire RB swaps in S13's in a similar fashion.
  18. I love road atlanta I'd give anything to race there.... maybe one day
  19. Front bumper came with the car but I believe its a faily common bumper on z's I believe its an MSA type 1 air dam with brake cooling ducts. I have not done a rear disc conversion yet, I'm just waiting to get funds together to go with willwoods.
  20. Im running a stock regulator with high flow fuel pump and bigger injectors. Some people say that a stock regulator cant keep the pressure down enough at idle due to a large fuel pump putting too much pressure in the rail for the stock regulator bleed out... I personally have never had issues with this. I would only opt for an aftermarket regulator if my fuel-rail/fuel-plumbing required one or if I wanted to raise base pressure to get more out of your current injector setup. my .02
  21. or you can add a niple to you intercooler piping close to your turbo so you have short vacuum lines and you dont have to mess with the turbo.
  22. rrfpr are a good way to blow your motor, if you have megasquirt ditch the rrfpr and just run a regular FPR with a 1:1 ratio.
