  1. [sharedmedia=videos:videos:228] Pump gas 21psi through Th350 602whp. Made 20psi at 5000rpm on dyno with redline at 8000rpm. Took her down the street right after dyno and I have to say it IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!! Now I need 55gal of E85 and nitrous kit then off for retune!
  2. They should clear. Right now I have about 2.5" clearance between edge of the tire and flare. I will be raising rear end about another 1/2"-3/4". If it squats more than that then I will either do spring helpers or just go up on spring rate. Got to start somewhere lol.
  3. Blue Z is guy that goes by name Pnut and I have seen video of him running orange Z!!! Thanks for the props guys I have really slowed down with whole picture taking at this point but I will make it up when I get chance. Last Saturady buddy and me got the exhaust almost finished it just needs some hangers made and few more welds but here is the video of it with full exhaust. http://youtu.be/_I0pggXD6Uk http://youtu.be/0SDs8mL3p9o
  4. Nah man still got at least five more years to go before its clean as your Z! Dont remember flare brand they should be somewhere in this thread. Rear tires are 275/50-15 MT drag radials. I was just in right places at right times. Most important I got some good experince working for AMS in Chicago and had alot of help from very talented friends!
  5. It only took six years for rear wheels to move under their own power! http://youtu.be/sLt9-BajwzA
  6. Man to be honest this is first time in last few months that I even got chance to log in here and see whats going on... Lets see as of month ago I moved in my new house spent every last dime on remodeling and furnishing house for last 6 months. Garage is all done as far as floor, walls, ceiling, and lights go. Last coat of clear for the floor went on few days ago and today I removed everything that was taped up... Z is sitting at my buddies house every two or so weeks I go by there and spin motor few good times. Oh yeah I had to get turbo rebuild (something got caught up in both oil seals and messed everything up) and it ended up being cheaper to get whole new center section. I still have to get cabinets installed in garage and move my tool box from parents house than I can get Z back and start working on it.
  7. He put bondo on first where it was needed then he put the resin on. To be honest everything about my swap is in this build thread I find myself going back just to remind myself what was done and how I did it lol. Not any time soon man. I got new house so last month and next two months are nothing but house and garage work... When house work is done I have to finish exhaust, fill up trans/connect torque convertor/check for leaks, alignment, and chassy wiring harness... So still ways to go.
  8. Small clip of the dash display sorry about video quality I took them with my phone [video=youtube;LtG4s1fSQ80]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtG4s1fSQ80 Bleeding cooling system [video=youtube;mp469oQFPQI]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp469oQFPQI
  9. Fiberglass resin (I think that this was before bondo work) All done and coated with wrinkle black finish Sparco seats and 5 point harness installed on both seats
  10. So time finally came to get my dash redone. Really good friend of mine Kris has been doing custome stereo work for over 25 years and he really knows his shit when it comes to this kind of work. I just told him what I wanted done with the dash and he did his witchcraft. This is what he came up with. Starting point one very fucked up "dash" I was hoping that he would make a cake but instead I got this shit (he blocked every hole with backing plate before he filled them up) First test fit of the Race Pak Bondo work
  11. Engine fully wired up and running also installed nice DEI turbo blanket that my buddy Joe from TDC Performance hooked me up with. I also removed BCS from the firewall because it looked like complete shit I will just end up putting it under intake manifold when time comes to hook it up. Got some new Mickey T's in 275/50-15 for the street I built this exhaust on my back with like less than 2.5 feet of ground clearance talk about suck... I will finish it once I get car on the lift then it will go all the way back and I will run magnaflow muffler with it Got it tig welded at TDC by Tampa Mike Muffler to go with it maybe I can get Chip Foose to came over and do some body work?!?
  12. Started on engine harness install and wire tuck Coming together pretty good Ignition coils done Then I started on the injectors Injectors wired up and tucked
  13. I figured since I am taking night off from working on the new house I might as well go and update this thread. All this stuff that I am posting today is from around November/December of the last year so yeah its been while... Here is bunch of the connectors, wire insulation, battery cutoff, haltech ecu bracket... Mounted electronics and started on the wiring Bunch of crap going back that got tucked and loomed so nice but I never took pic of it finished... Battery wiring Battery mounted and wired up just need to bolt in mega fuse
  14. In the middle of buying house... Dash is done with display molded in and most of the "interior" is back in the car so I just need to get around to uploading those pictures. Turbo needs to be sent out and checked since its leaking good on the exhaust side. Turbo is new but it has been sitting for 5-6 years so I will send it with my feed and return lines that way everything can get checked out. That is about it for now.
  15. Well its been few months I guess its time for an update. Por-15 cleaning up party!!! I think that I spent about 5 hours washing inside of the car and getting it ready for Por-15. Cleaned out pretty good. Two coats of Por-15. Road trip!!! New home its small but its got A/C!!! Sound and heat insulation all done. Time to start wiring up engine. Made good size panel for engine electronics for good starting point. Panel sits right behind dash so you really cant see it with the dash in the place. Yeah I really dont feel like wiring all this up! LOL Now I need to order bunch of connectors for sensors and crap load of small things but things are looking up for sure.
  16. Not at this time maybe down the road if I see need for them. Stony, Man that much low sure does look good!!!
  17. Did I mention that my new wheels came in?!?! They are weld rt-s series front wheels are 15x3 1.5"BS and rear wheels are 15x9 4.5BS (crap they might be 5.5BS not sure anymore lol). Front tires are Nexen 3000 and rears are some junk hoosier 275/50-15 that I got from F&D autocare for free and Bob was nice enough to mount them for me THANKS BOB!!! Man I really like how this back looks now!!! No clearance issues with big brakes at all. Next on the list are fender flares to be mounted then it will be time for engine management wiring.
  18. Man talk about overdue update!!! I did not do much over the last two months I guess working mostly six days a week does not leave much time for car work. I was able to finish my brake lines today everything came out good except rear brake line (soft line to hard line) fittings are leaking on both sides which I had feeling would happen since they did not feel like they fitted very well. I will look into that issue next weekend I guess. 3/16 brake line with -3AN fittings and banjo bolts on master cylinder. I think that I have about 12-14 hours of labor in whole setup. I could have done it much faster but I was just taking my time with it since I wanted to do this only one time and I wanted it to look nice and clean. -3AN bulkhead fitting Line lock "mounted" on the crossmember. I have to build bracket for it that will keep it about 1-1.5" higher than it is in picture so it would be about same height as 2jz crossmember. I mounted (with zipties lol) proportioning valve under the car since I only plan to adjust brake bias one time and lets be real this is not road race car so I dont need it inside of the car. Thats it for the brakes I just need to see what is the deal with two of the adapter fittings and then brakes should be ready to be bleed of air.
  19. Got around to doing my fuel system it came out pretty nice and I am fairly happy with it. Bosch 044 pumps mouted with all the fittings. Very tight fit. Mounted right next to the fuel cell. Got these fuel filters from summitracing one for each pump. I ended up mounting my FRP between starter and engine mount it came out really good. Return line from fuel rail to the FPR. Dual -8 feed with filters before pumps. Dual -8 into single -10 feed line. Talk about tight fit! Second line is -8 return. -8 return line Under the car. Weldon fuel filter (I will run driveshaft loop around it so it will serve as a shield for filter and as a driveshaft loop). -10 feed line to the rail. From the top looks clean and no clutter of lines running around. Test fitted some 15" Weld's from another broke ass non running Z... : ) I think that I am going to start building my brake lines next so more shopping for me.
  20. I have some heat insulation left over I might as well go and get it on there better safe then sorry!
  21. I am planing on for sure just need to finish few more small brackets and then it's off to powdercoating then I will do final mounting.
  22. Its been few weeks from last update so I figured it would be good time for one. Brand new brake master cylinder. Remanufactured brake booster (primed and spray painted came out pretty nice). They make such a nice couple. Spray painted throttle body not as baller as Richards painting but it will do. Under intake manifold. 5 bar aem map sensor. Made -4 turbo oil feed line. Vacuum line for Tial Bov. Ingressol Rand boost solenoid. Catch can all done and mounted. I think that I might add extra bracket on catch can so it can be more sturdy. Dipstick bracket made. Going to start on fuel system tomorrow so more fun for me...
  23. Hood on the green car is for sale FYI...
