as far as rotating tires there was no problem at all. i just took them to local performance shop because i knew that they had more experince with low profile/big wheels and also that they would be more carefull with it then your local tire shop (thats just my honest opinion). Ivan

j260z well i cant exactlly remembar if they did stick out that much but i am pretty sure that they did stick out more than stock four lug ones. when i swapted out my back ones to the front (my front ones are 40 and back ones are 20 offset) they ended up sticking out enough that i would need some bolt on fairlady flares to make it look right. now what i think that he is gonna run into is his back wheels are gonna be just fine but its gonna look odd because he is only going to need flares up front. i truly hope that i am wrong at this. sb400z hey man you are gonna love those wheels they sure do make Z car look mean as hell . u said that u have 2O offset well i just hope that only two of them are 20 because for front you are gonna need 40 offset (20 will stick out of fender) i have almost indentical setup on suspension as u but my front wheels are 40 offset and they fit just right. well i just hope that i am wrong about it let me know how it goes. Mike let me put you this way i would trade my momos for some tenzos any time of the day. they are so much more comfortable than my momos (i sat in both of them) and as far as momos go its just a name that i paid for nowhere as comfortable as tenzos (if you saw how wide my shoulders are you would understand lol) just my $0.2 on that. or check these out. i love these seats in black and they are sooo comfortable (even for big guy as me) and if you like them go to ebay and type "tenzo seats" some place sells them all the time two seats (any color), sliders, and i belive they also include brackets plus FREE S&H. all this for about $480 buy it now!!! i am going to sell my seats in little while and i am going to get me two of black ones u just cant beat that deal. ok this questio is for guys that have haltech e6k on l28t with stock distributor. i am almost done with my install but as of right now my progress have came to dead end. my problem is this. i need to know where to hook my positive and negative side of coil should it to back in factory harness (one that comes out of passenger side) or what? and also in back of haltech manual there is wiring diagram and on it there is connector called "ignition output" with six wires coming out of it so do i have to use any of them, and if do which ones do i use and where do they go. i would deffinetelly appriciate any help of helpfull hint. hey guys i was just wondering if anyone has base map for 280zxt motor. i am looking for someone that is running stock injectors or slightlly bigger (under 44o's). i have goten more than enoguh help from jt240 (out member) he went out long way to help me out but only thing is that he is running 550's inje. so his map is way off for me so i tought why not post on here and se if i can get lucky . on3go to make it very simple go back to announcements (sp) forum and email the guy with that orange z that you have replied on (jtaylor) and since its his car and his setup he will be able to tell you more about it. he wont mind it i know because he is super nice guy who knows his z stuff. Ivan

dustyz ok first thing first. friend of mine has sets of 240z rods (one of them has full race prep so its good for about 600hp). he is member on this board and his screen name is jtaylor. now second thing why are you so stuck up on stroker motor (i dont mean that in bad way) when bone stock l-28 turbo motor can be taken to 400 rwhp (well i know 388 whp for sure) all it takes to get there is big turbo, good intercooler, injectors, fuel pump and you can still use stock electronics (very risky but it has been done). now you wonder how am i so sure well jtaylor has been runing this setup for two years now at 360 whp (388 was on race gas going very lean but you have to understand that was on STOCK ELECTRONICS). so the best thing would be to start off with 280zxt motor and go from there. hey guys i dont have direct experience with clutches (havent even driven my z yet lol) but this is what i know from talking to other guys with turbo z's). for example my friend jtaylor dynoed his z at 388 whp and 420 pounds of torque and so far he went to i belive two six puck clutches (in less than 5000 miles) and with six puck car was not friendly for daily driving. when i went to reynolds i met mike (z-gad) and he was running 3.1 l lots of boost on drag radials and his clutch was slipping bad. from what i remember it was custom heavy duty unit and his motor had only 8000 miles so i belive his clutch did. everyone that i have talked to that had first hand experince with centerforce all they had to say about it was that they were pure junk. now this is what i am going to do on my car whenever my clutch goes out (stock oem turbo one). i am going to get 300zx tt flywheel get it redrilled to fit l-28 (i know of guy that has done this and he does it ofthen) and get me nice act clutch for 300zx tt and that should be more than i will ever need not to mention nice and smooth engagement compering to puck clutchess (which seems to me that most of the guys with high hp z's are running). well that is just my opinion and i hope that it helps yall out some. Jt hey man i was just wondering if you would be able to help me out with something. i just got my e6k today and i should have it all hooked up by the end of next week (i can work only hour or two every night) and i was wondering if there is anyway that you can help me with getting it started. what i mean is i am gonna need base program just to get car to crank up. i know that our setups are probablly very different but i just need to get it to idle (i just want to make sure that everything is working before i take it to local tuner). i would appriciate any help. btw i am located in mobile Al. Ivan

hey guys sorry for replying so late but damn computer wouldnt let me sign on. first off all i have few things figured out. changed oil few days ago and its still clear so far so good. next thing i did leak down test and that came out perfect no pressure drop. then it came out that i was using nonturbo fuel pressure regulator so we got that switched to turbo one. this whole time i tought that car was running hot well it wasnt i was using factory sending unit with autometer gauge and they werent compatible sp. afther little trip to auto zone i got me one of those cheap water temp gauges... long story short temp. is just fine now. hey mike man i had blast at reynolds meeting you and other guys inspired me in big way and not to mention that ride that you gave me in your z my neck is still hurting but to avoid any potential lawsuit i will setlle for pair of fender mirrors . i cant wait until next meet just this time i am going to bring my z. ps. i have new problem but i am going to post on troubleshouting forum. well it looks like bad luck just keeps following me all the time. afther getting my brakes to work i was about to take my z for its first spin with turbo swap but before i took it on road i wanted to check everything out just to be sure. while car was idling i took oil filler cap off valve cover and cam lobe started throwing oil out (as it should) but when i went to whipe it off i really looked like crap. it looked like it was getting mixed with coolant but not exactlly its kinda dark... very hard to explain. this is my problem i am running 77z n42 bottom end turbo head gasket (oem) and p90 head. car runs just fine but it keeps running hot (while idling i havent driven it yet) so i took thermostat out and it seemed to help but it did just for while it still kept running hot. every time that it gets to 210 deg. i would shut car off (auto meter gauge). i know its not water pump b/c its new unit and also when i take radiator cap off i can see coolant flowing from one side to another. i am just could my head gasket (turbo one) be blocking some of the water passages so it cant cool properlly? and i tought that i might have blown ring or so (i gave it few good revs and it made like 3-4 psi of boost) but just in case i checked compression and all six of them were between 125-130 psi. so where could water be getting in and mixing with oil (if thats whats happenig)? and also its not blowing white smoke out of exhaust just little bit like the day it crancked up for the first time. if you have any ideas guys let me know. jt first of all those are some very nice # nothing to complain about for sure but i do have one question. if i saw it right was your peak power right about 4500rpm? or did you just let go of gas at that rpm? it just seems kinda weiard because when we took my friends 280zt (with t4) his peak power was right about 6k. i appologize if this is dumb question. thanks for replys guys i alredy have great news. z is finally runing. i had to hot wire fuel pump and redo ignition wires (they were way out of place) and she cranked right up. Ivan (ohhh yeah its running)

here you go quick and simple. safc wont work with 280zxt electronics u wont need bigger injectors if you get wet nitrous kit and last dont get autometer air fuel from what i have seen they are piece of crap. get you good egt guage from greddy, apexi, or so...(they are not cheap but they are great gauges). this is just my honest opinion.
