Tim what made you to switch to mikuni manifold? with twm manifold did you run into clerance problems with your intake plenum or was it something else? Ivan

Matt i just got them but no conversion yet well not at least until it starts snowing then i will tear the car up and TRY to put it back together lol. for right now i dont even make enough hp to spin tires so lsd would just slow me down in my opinion. Ivan

Ron I am not woried about linkage i will be using single cable opereated t/body. As far as Twm goes when i was looking at Tim's picture (of his twm individual t/body setup) they were using mikuni intake. I am not familliar with nissan mot. intake i havent seen any of them yet and cannon intake is much easier to obtain and they are usually reasonablly sp priced. today i was going through ebay and there i came across very simillar intake as cannon but it was made by HKS they both almost looked indentical and there is one more guy selling intake made by weber but it is made for L20. Sorry James i knew about that i should have specified which intake i was talking about and that was the ones that you are selling not your personal. my bad on that one . i really like the ones that you are making i saw it first handed when it arrived to jtaylors house and i was just amazed how nice it was and i was going to get one of them but i really want to learn how to make something bymyself and i belive that making custom intake is within my capabillities sp but its going to be time consuming. i am pretty confident with task like this but i will keep yall posted about progress. Thats great i was hoping that cannon would be somewhat better plus i am not worried about linkage at all because i am going with velocity stacks and big single t/body. Thanks for your help guys. Ivan

Hey guys i am about to start my custom intake madifold for my turbo z and i was just wondering if there is any difference inbetween cannon madifold and mikuni one and also do both of those fit p90 head. i know that they dont have holes for fuel injectors but i would just like to know if bolt pattern is same for all heads. also is any of them more preffered sp? i really like james thagard's intake but i really want to built something by myself and plus i want to go with air horns and cannon intake will space runners enough to make them fit on there. any suggestions are more than welcome. James, that sounds good to me. Lockjaw, i did't know that you can get head o-ringed, how much does o-ring job usually go for and when you get you block decked that means that its getting perfectlly sp even right? and how much does that usually go for? thanks for such quick response Ivan

hey guys are any of you running stock oem turbo gasket on l28t and making some serious power (like 350whp). i am just asking because right now i cant afford hks metal one so i have to go with what i have. thanks Ivan

this is one place i would talk to for sure. they have stock botton end sr20det making 530whp at 25psi. they have made about 40 passes so far at that level and motor is still holding. it looks like this engine has gone to hell and came back in one piece so check it out. http://www.phase2motortrend.com/phase2racecar.html Ivan

afther driving my z for few days i noticed that car pulls hard from about 2500rpm to 5500rpm afther that it well it just suxs dont pull as hard no more. i have done search and found that stock cam is good to about that rpm. i know that there are quite few cams out there for turbo z's but i need help on finding right one for my application (i really dont know much about cams but i really want to learn). i really dont care too much about idle but i just need cam that can pull hard anywhere from 2500-3000rpm up to 7000rpm before falling on its face. i have everything upgraded right now except turbo but that is coming in shortly. realistic goal is 400whp and also what else do i need to buy with new cam. if anyone has any prices that would be great i just need some $$$ numbers to get basic idea. thanks Ivan

hey guys my i/c just came in today its made by greddy. core size is 17 inch wide, 11 inch tall, 2 3/4 inch thick, and inlet/outlet is 2 1/4 inch. now i am going to run this with stock turbo for about 3 months and then i am going to upgrade it with t4. i really want to run 2 1/2 inch piping (do it one time and get done with it) but i am just wondering what is flow limit of 2 1/4 inch piping. my realistic whp goal is 400. any sugestions are welcome. Ivan

lol thats too funny. few days ago i was driving home about 3am when this clean 99 cobra rolled up next to me. it was black convertibal with sallen kit some chrome wheels just nice and clean. guy gets next to me and i go into boost one time (open extrenal wastgate) and he goes like man thats turbo right and i was like yeah it is he goes wow it sounds sweet man... then he was like is it afthermarket and i told him nah its stock (really it is) then we went first gear roll (10mph) and by the time we hit top of third gear i had about car and half on him i kept on going straight and he was turning on interstate last thing i saw was him holding his tumb up and waving sp to me guy was very cool about it plus he liked ol z. it just seems that every time i ride out everyone wants to run me from chick in c5 to some other chick in some kia 4 door sedan lol. yeah it sure is nice driving z and not working on it for change. Garcia, i got the cawl part of the hood from friend of mine i gave him six race prep rods for it. he got if off ebay somehow while back. then i had to get 240z hood with no louvers and get this piece molded in finally cost was about $600 unpainted yes i know its too damn much but hey its part of history and you cant put price on that. 80lt1, yes you are right they are 18inch tsw trophys. yes i do know that they are big but damn they sure do make car stand out alot. btw if you are looking into buying some sorry but they are discontinued about two years ago. Ivan

Yes i am running stock 77 280z bottom end with god knows how many miles lol and its bone stock. compression is i belive right about 7-5-1 or 7-8-1 right about there (i am using oem turbo head gasket). when i did compression check other night all cylinders were about 125psi and thats the same compression on turbo cars i belive. yes i am gonna get that run with lancer on tape unless i blow this bottom end lol. last night i did second gear pull with turbo integra. he is running turbo kit with afther market intake madifold and all other bolt ons plus his car is TUNED. we went second gear pull on I-10. we kicked it at same time and all the way to fifth gear we were neck to neck neither one of us could pull away. it was the grat run. the only bad thing is that my tack is not working yet (so i was guessing but it was probabbly about 7k shifts) at wot my air/fuel was at 9-0-1 9-5-1 (piss rich) right about there so i am most likelly about 30hp shy right now. i was running 10psi on stock t3 with no i/c. i am very happy about run i tought that he was gonna leave me because i rode in that car before and car is quick few weekends ago he put smack down on four valve mustang cobra with few bolt ons. next weeked i am gonna get car leaned out and turn boost about 3 more psi and then i am going to run new lancer evolution (stock), turbo eclipse gst (exhaust, down pipe, k/n, boost controler), and that integra again but this time i am gonna bring camera (unless my n/a bottom end decides to let go until then lol). thats it for my first real run. my greddy i/c is coming next wendsday and then its time for turbo bottom end (sitting on engine hoist) and 15 psi plus damn yband professional TUNNING. man haltech is so nice later Ivan
