.090 is a crazy amount to be off! Machinists are used to working with tolerances +-.002 normally and should be able to get that concentric down to those levels. I would not return to that "machinist", and I don't think it would be a very good idea to run those rotors the way they are. I would keep searching for a place that will be able to get it within +-.005 everytime.

You also don't really need to enlarge the coutershaft bearing hole on the bellhousing. You can just swap the bearings and put the smaller 280Z one on the 71C transmission, This makes the swap easier, but I have read that you will loose how much torque the transmission can take.

The front diff on some of the 720 trucks with 4x4 is an R180 and has a 4.375 ratio, I'm pretty sure that the ring and pinion is the larger 115mm size, which I think fits into the subaru sti diff. So you could pick up a STI diff and try to find a 720 R&P to swap in.

The regulator is part of the alternator on the 280ZX's. Are you sure that the alternator is charging?

Hey guys, I came across this baffle set up, and want to know if anybody had any experience with it. It looks like it would be pretty easy to install. The only problem is, that the baffle doesnt look very large. Im going to be putting a L28ET into my 260, and would like at least a little baffling in the tank. Im not planning on hitting the track, maybe a little autocross here and there. I have seen the ATL black box, but this looks quite a bit cheaper and easier to install. Any opinions?

According to G Pop Shop it's a 1 piece encapsulated carbon seal.
