  1. I hear ya on the rain. I got to find out the hard way that my weatherstripping is shot 2 hours to have a dry Z is not fun lol. and keep up the good work! should be sweet when you're done!
  2. if you want a great sounding exhaust, go with msa's twice pipes setup. sounds amazing imo. it's loud but not obnoxious. again...my opinion lol. i've gone on 2 hour canyon runs windows down and didn't get annoyed at all. also gave my Z some great higher rpm pickup. really screams now but, if you're not into that, go with the dynomax. best deal in my mind and if i didn't get the twice pipes, it was the dynomax.
  3. Bought a '77 when I was sixteen. First car. Sold it due to rust. Now I have a '78 dd which will become my project car when I'm out of college
  4. very nice! the clock in my 78 works just fine though...even keeps excellent time! but i know that the day will come....
  5. Yea, my thoughts exactly. 1. I couldn't cut people open either. 2. It takes a looong time to finally be finished with school! Sure you'll be making bank but you still have to pay off all those loans Gl with the move and the Z! I know as soon as I get out of school I'm getting myself a Mk3 Supra for my dd and putting the Z into "project" mode
  6. My best friend is a chemistry major wanting to get into a medical school. he's not doing all that well lol. i can probably narrow it down to two things. 1. he doesn't get it which i highly doubt since he's a smart guy. 2. DOTA! we both play wayyy too much. however, i'm a communication studies major so i can
  7. Heres a pic of my twice pipes. told ya i get them to you! jus not in a timely manner lol. you can click on the pictures to make em bigger... you can tell which piping is the kit and which is the one the shop had to use to get it to fit. don't know if this is the way it is on all 280s but i got the difference back from msa that i had to pay to "make it work." sounds absolutely gorgeous but the fit sucked.
  8. Leave me alooooooone!! lol. i swear, they teach you this stuff early on in the semster and expect you to remember it without ever using it!! Gl on your last finals!
  9. Eh, this semester wasn't too harsh. really wish i had taken ceramics instead of film aesthetics though. other than that, my insane com research class and french finals went pretty well....except for the fact i forgot how to do the "future" tense >_< i wont know my grades for another couple weeks but as long as i keep my scholarship, i'm good
  10. oh man! you ROCK!! I've enjoyed reading all 8 or 9 pages of this thread! Keep us updated and good luck with your ZX...and your R-32....you're one lucky guy!!
  11. yea, i jus use a led flashlight but that'd be purty sweet too!
  12. the cool thing about those lights is that they unravel and you can shed light on a good size chunk of the engine. but man, replacing that thing with an LED would really improve it's already superb ingenuity!
  13. ouch! hope everything works out for ya man
  14. i'll prob do that too when i'm out of college and can get a separate dd.
  15. I think my insurance is around $1200 a year and I get full coverage with Mercury Insurance....
  16. wow...the amount of work is INCREDIBLE!!! and he's not even done! O_O i can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished
  17. *phew* you had me going there....good luck with the rest of the suspension!....and the semester lol
  18. I'll keep your father in my prayers.
  19. it might be the >10% of potential ethanol in the mix. i know i filled up at a shell station and saw the little sign about it. my car did horrible on that tank...spitting and sputtering every now and then. wasn't a fan lol. i usually go to either chevron or valero now and haven't had a problem and curious enough, haven't seen another ethanol sign either
  20. $90??!! what are you filling it with man? lol. it never cost me more than $60 and that was from empty o_O and prices look like 2.05 at the valero off tustin in Orange, Ca. keep on going down!!! woooo!!
