  1. You may want to look at how much its going to cost first, i was priced $50 US dollars for the JUN adjustable cam sprocket and im sure HKS and Tomei make them as well. Other wise good luck with your project. jeremy
  2. The picture dosent show the piping, i cut a hole where the air flow meter sat and the same on the drivers side, been too busy at work to finish it up. Then again, i didnt have much choice the left side goes up in front of the wheel then connects to the throttle body and the drivers side goes up in front of the wheel then across the top of the fans and back to the turbo, hope that all makes sense. later Jeremy
  3. look to the left side, its in the downloads section
  4. It was using the L28 ecu, i dont have my engine running yet but has a Garrett GT3540 turbo mounted on a Trust stainless manifold, i have a piece of blank motec fuel rail which has a good shape for running o-ring injectors, came from aus through andre at Speedtech. I have been bringing all my own parts in from japan, prices here are far to expensive. later Jeremy
  5. im in newzealand as well, i brought my L28 with l20et manifolds on it, when i pulled it apart there was no internal damage or problems that could be seen, it was running with the N42 head, im sure it had standard injectors and the standard ecu. Ive been talking to Andre from Speedtech motorsport and he said there should be no probs with the compresion. Im no longer using the standard manifold, turbo, ecu and injectors. if your interested in any of the bits im not using let me know. later jeremy
  6. Im just in the middle of putting koni adjustables in mine, the backs went in fine, the fronts have taken a little more because of the use of adjustable camber plates. And my front wheels no longer bolt up as the offset was +2mm i think and with 235 tires they hit the coils. And im using King springs. The rears were for a RX7 and the fronts are for a Z31 later jeremy
  7. standard has only an internal waste gate
  8. i think alpine used to make one a few years back, i havent realy bothered with car audio lately.
  9. http://www.wsdirect.co.nz/shop/index.asp i went and talked to these guys two weeks ago and they had 6 R32's in there all being dismanteled all the cars are tested and some dynoed, they sell whole GTR's from $7500 us dollars. they also have a 500 - 600 hp engine for sale and have no probs shipping to the states later jeremy
  10. yeah i could be keen depending on price of corse and shipping Z1 any chance we will be able to purchase these with a credit card? btw i havent got the manifold back from being straightend yet(had to have it de-stresed first) so i havent been able to get the pics of it mounted to the engine
  11. Thanks James, i sent an email back to ya. Adam, this manifold has been an after thought i just wanted to have it before they stoped making it alltogether however i am going to be using it so if anyone would like to sugest a turbo, be my guest Engine is 2.8 with N42 head (no P90's down here) i have got as far as rebuilding the bottom end and thats it (due to business obligations) manifold has been sent to have the flang checked for straightness and i think i might have the EGT probe monted in the exhuast housing of the turbine. Please dont hope to see this on the road anytime soon, cause my credit cards now maxed out If you do want to see what i have done so far theres some pics at http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/jpatmore/ Cheers guys Jeremy
  12. its here check out my personal album, theres two pics in there im unsure if ill get a day off this weekend but if i do ill set it up on my engine and get a pic of that and just looking at it, you should be ok fitting it to a LHD car unless something in the steering is likely to hit it anyway im really impressed with the manifold
  13. I put a few pictures in my personal gallery of the R32 gear set in the LD housing. I dont want to bolt it together yet, as i need to replace the bearings and i havent decided which tail housing to go with. Later Jeremy
  14. might have to look into them further down the track cody heres their web page, few bits on there http://www.central20.co.jp/index.shtml btw, manifold was sent out yesterday so i might see it next week so if i get a few moments ill sit the head back on my block and bolt it up so you have some reference pictures
  15. all going well it should be shiped out tomorrow in your other post you were planing on getting gauges from central 20, are these still availible cause i noticed on their website that they have sold out? later jeremy
  16. no probs with pics when i get it wont know if it will be ok on a LHD car as mines RHD i looked at some pictures of a manifold that i think is the same one looks like the turbo would line up between the last two cylinders, although the waste gate may end up close to the brake master cylinder, but ill confirm it with pics yeah the Trust TD-07 turbines are curently around $2000 us dollars, but i know you can pick up plain mitsi TD-07 turbines much cheaper another thing i noticed was the stock manifold i have mounts the turbo closer to the center cylinders then what ive seen of the us spec manifold anyway should have some pics as soon as it arrives in a couple of weeks later jeremy
  17. just ordered mine due to be shipped out from japan by friday they make to order, which is roughly 3-4 weeks cant wait till it gets here
  18. R32 gts the centre plate lines up soo all you need to do is unbolt the gts housing and bolt on the LD housing, all done the reason for the LD housing is it uses the same size bearings as the skyline box and the other thing you may like to look into is the 3L VL holden commerdor (sp?) box we also looked at the gts25t skyline box, it looks like it will bolt up to the L series engine but its on to much of an angle and would also require some tunnel mods to fit it in there. all this info i get from my old man, who is a manual transmission specalist, so ill blame him if anything goes wrong later, jeremy
  19. since your in oz, have you looked into putting the gts skyline internals into an L serries desiel housing? i have all the parts sitting in the garrage ready to go, $100 for all new bearings (time and money are not on my side at the moment) so i havent got very far with it. i might pull it out and take a few pictures not sure how much stronger it will be, but my brothers skylines box has been holding up well. i payed $20 for the skyline box, so the total wont be any more then $150 for everything so i spose it wont hurt the pocket to much if it dosent hold up to the extra power. later, jeremy
  20. yup its the one that motorsport auto sells, shiped it out here last year need to cut it up a bit so more air will get to the intercooler and oil cooler
  21. im in wellington, im keen to get out and meet up with others, maybe when i actually get the car back and going. it only takes a day to get from one end of the north island to the other but im sure it will take me a good couple of year to get it where i want it
  22. im in welly should have my car back from the panel shop soon and finished in a couple of years the way im going
  23. im in nz as well, i brought an L28 with the L20 setup on from a wreckers ($375nz) just gonna bolt the bottom end back together today, and if your keen on spending some money on that engine you can look into parts from HKS, Trust and JUN however these are really expensive so buy them straight out of japan where posible. but for the price for a nice stainless turbo manifold you could buy yourself a RB26 to drop in there. or if you know anyone in japan you could buy from the japanese auctions, i saw a stainless turbo manifold on there for $200nz im being different and sticking with the L series and buying all my parts out of japan, but bang for buck swap the engine. later jeremy
  24. VG-30DET Type: 2998cc EFI Quad cam 24-valve V6 turbo Power: 190kw @6000rpm Torque: 343nm @3200rpm Gearboxes: RWD auto only Source: Nissan Leopard sedan around 1990-91 no intercooler, single turbo
