    I never said the vk56 was direct injection.

    Let me know what specs you need for the VK, I should be able to help out. I'm currently trying to find injector information for the two. Nissan does not supply that information and I'm getting a set MY06 flex fuel injectors packed up to send out and have tested.

    The heads have a very nice combustion chamber which should help quite a bit on a boosted app. Also, the ports are as generous as I've seen in stock applications. I expect the VK to make big numbers when boosted like the VQ does. Also, certain 05+ Titan and Armadas with the VK56 were factory flex fuel models with larger injectors and different valves and seats than the regular gas engine.

    I like to overthink engine engineering as well, but to a point .05 worth of rod/stroke ratio,5cfm, etc... isnt going to matter much in a streetable engine so don't beat yourself up over minute details. I'm doing a VK56 as soon as I have the time to get it running. I like the engine quite a bit, its miles over square and has a 1.6x rod/stroke ratio, six bolt mains, and four valve DOHC heads with big ports on both sides.

    What is the widest anyone is running in the rear without doing minor rolling?

    You're gonna spend way to much doing that. A VK56 with high comp pistons, good rods, headers, ITBs, and good engine management will make that and you'll spend way less money.

    Not sure on the limits of the stock ZX pump, but fairly sure it won't do that. What installs easily and will support that kind of power? thanks, Jared

    it says that the vg flywheel will work with the vh, which we already knew. it doesnt mention anything about the crank bolt pattern.

    Some info for those asking above, the VQ and VK share flywheel bolt pattern. I have not yet compared the different VQ flywheels though, I have a FWD here and a RWD on the way.
