Excellent job dude!.....what rim size do you think this will work with? The lever sticks up pretty high ...or is that just because there is no cable attached ?...I am hoping it clears my 16s.

I came across this tool bag that says solex TKW carb tools The bag is filled with 2 flat heads ,a phillips screwdriver, twizzers, and a T shaped flat head . Ive searched far and wide and cant find any info on this or TKW..... Just seeing if anybody knows what year this comes from and if this set was just a general set or came with a car ? Whats it worth ?

Ok so got a lot done today after 4 hours and my girlfriend helping me . In a 240z this might be a direct bolt in BUT in my 74 late year 260z it took more then slight modifications . I needed all new brackets that I had to customize extensively by grinding, cutting , drilling new holes, and some slight bending of original mounts . Here's the finished products minus the bumper deletes So the bumper deletes hit the bolts that are holding the valance on...not sure what I'm going to do yet to get them flush ....and I still need to modify the grill mounts a bit to get it perfectly centered.

Taking the Canada day weekend here to install my star road front bumper and grill kit ...I will update as the progress goes this weekend ....yesterday ans today I managed to get the bumper painted up and ready to install. Hopefully will be finished the install by Tommorow .

I have yet to find a 240z bumper that will mount flush up against the body ....especially on the sides where theres no indent like there is on the 240z....are you saying this kit fixes that issue?

There is many posts on seats here....but i will tell you from my experience no XL seat will work in our Zs without heavy modification. I had to make room via bashing the tranny tunnel to make Bride Vios 3s fit .....so check out the dimensions on those seats and anything wider takes either more tunnel bashing or cutting and sectioning whatever way you want to do it. Plus the width of the ears on the small bride vios also touch the door card...so keep that in mind.....Big seat = Big modification in a datsun Z

Ok just thought I would update this thread as I have changed directions in my motor build. I wish I could update this with some new parts on the car or at least getting a quick write up on the star road bumper and grill install BUT I'm in the process of moving and hard to work on the car ATM. So I have decided to go NA and get rid of my turbo parts. I'm going NA purely for the love and sound of triples and NA exhaust note of the L6 For me ..even if a turbo L6 has more power ...it just doesn't give me the sound/satisfaction the NA L6 can. So I scooped up an equal length kameari 48mm stainless steel header LHD apparently version lol ...it looks to be a LHD version but final fitment will tell ....I bought it used and it was cheap enough that I thought what the hell ...and I also picked up some triple Solex 44s with an SK intake. After move in I'm going to get a rebello 3.0 liter stroker kit and hopefully soon tear out the 2.6l. Check back for updates ...thanks for following

I run a 450cfm on my 2.6l without issue ....but ditching that once my stroker is done just because i hate the look.....love the look and sound of triples.

Always pay with paypal and you will never be scammmed....because if it is a scam paypal gets you your money back...and if the seller doesnt accept paypal that should be your first warning sign.

Well when you dump 20gs into a car you want it covered for the full 20gs thats the point of the price increase.

i have been trying to look for a better company...in my area another good company is Zehr but they wont insure you if its modified. I could go with my regular car insurance which is co operators But from my understanding they will only give me back what market value is on a 1974 260z...and wouldnt refund me on all the mods...unless i can provide receipts which they would scrutinize to death in the event of an accident... anybody else know of a good collector car insurance in ontario ?

I know i might be asking for a unicorn here ....but i just got my hands on a set of oem light cover frames...and would love to fill them up with oem lenses....so if you have a set of these with really rusted frames i will still give you cash for the lenses ....or if for some reason you just have lenses sitting around. Let me know what you have ....
