  1. Although you cannot see it in my pictures I did the same thing you are going to do. However I used 1x1 square tubing instead of angle iron
  2. Drilling holes in the mount will be fine. I took a nice chunk out of one of the sides to make room for my dual exhuast setup.
  3. Looks good but if you hear even one clunk you need to take it home and stiffen up that mount. It works for some guys so you might be alright.
  4. Im hoping to do these same flare one day. Keep at it
  5. http://www.ccwheel.com/gallery/DATSUN/260z/ALL/Classic/zoomed/03.jpg http://www.ccwheel.com/gallery/DATSUN/260z/ALL/Classic/zoomed/04.jpg The way they match up with the wheels is just amazing. It looks like it may be a full clip but any and all info on this would be appreciated, thanks.
  6. Ebay studs? Yikes! I know people have good luck with them but that's one department I'll never skimp on.
  7. You need to do ALOT more reading. The very first post in this section teaches you how to basically do the install. Thatsaid the short answer to your question is yes the ls6 intake will fit on the LQ4 block and yes any FAST CAR intake manifold will fit on your car and under the hood. Most all parts are interchangeable in the LS world you just need to make sure you keep parts compatible between cathedral port heads and rectangle (research the two) Bst way to do it if you ask me is find a good LQ4 long block, install the LS1 accessories (oil pan, fuel rails, injectors, wterpump, alternator yada yada and drop it in.
  8. will do, just need to get a little work done first.
  9. Sorry this is the only picture I took. I will have it on the stands again this week and can snap a few extra photos. It does make it a little more of a pain in the ass to pull it off but it's not that big of deal really, Just 4 extra bolts.
  10. Ive started mocking my twins up this week. I had to cut some holes in the fenders but the placement is perfect to run a dual inlet/outlet intercooler and 2.5 MAYBE 3'' exhaust under the manifolds and outback. Loving your build.. hoping to incorporate a few of the things your doing into mine.
  11. With an ugly weld job but it holds 420 to the wheels no problem. I was able to use the two bolt holes closest to the diff
  12. That's a great turbo. Im in the middle of a street driven twin T61 master power build right now. Ill be posting up my build around January. Good luck on your build ill be dropping by to see progress.
  13. Turbo cars are hard to beat.. I've seen the you tube videos you haven't posted here. Those cars you run with make some serious power. It will be nice to see how you hold up against those 800-1000 rwhp T/A's and Mustangs. Twins or big single?
  14. Does anyone know the thread pitch and size for the 4 bolts that hold the Cross member and front lower rear control arms to the body? I think they are 3/8 20 but I wanted to make sure.
  15. If your goin to run the r200 and TTT front diff mount keep an eye on it, mine needed extra bracing.
  16. Very tempting but after spending all that time on my dual 3" system I think I'm going to pass. Plus the $1400+ will be put towards the turbo build this January. It's nice to know they are available though! While you guys are at it design a set of turbo manifolds I'd gladly buy those.
  17. To bad this didn't come up two days ago and these won't work with the common motor mount kits. You should throw the price of your motor mounts out there as well. If these only work with your mounts than that will be essential in selling them.
  18. Looks like the top hats where installed backwards by the previous owner..
