Thanks, Im very sure I have everything, T5 tranny, drive shaft, exhaust system. the engine along with the ecu, wiring harness. The parts car actually could start and drive when I got it so I know everything is there and should fit. just need time and for good ole Murphy's law not rear his ugly head on me

Ok, I have a 82 zxt coupe parts car with a good engine in it, I would like to swap that into my 83 NA, I have all the parts! BUT..... I have never done ANY real engine work. The Big question is--- How long would it take me to pull the turbo engine out and swap it into the NA? Two days? 3? a couple weekends? worse case?/best case?

Dang that would be nice, I've got two parts cars that have p90a heads in them and would love to use that head rather than the p90! only problem right now is my 83 zx is a NA and runs a p79 head so for the time being I have no way to test your clean/rebuild.

heh, no problem there! I just would not want to give the Z's a bad name by doing a 20sec 1/4 time I'd probably stall trying to drop the clutch on the line. I would love to meet and hang out with you guys, I know so little about these cars and cars in general. This is a new adventure for me!

LOL, I'd need to do some serious mods to get my car ready for track time. All the suspension needs redoing, I've still got a cold start idle issue, better tires might help I've got a bigger throttle body but need to pick up the 1" spacer before adding that to the car, I've also got a rebuilt T5 and fairly new centerforce duel friction clutch that needs to be pulled from one of my parts cars and installed. If you were at the Z rally last month we may have run into each other! ZGad was there for awhile, I spent all day there Want aZ, there should be plenty of work here in Orlando or Tampa for your field, Ft Myers may not have as much but I really would not know since its a good ways away from here.

are the 1980 280zx T-Tops the same as the 83 280zx?

don't know about the n42 head but if you shave the current head which will raise your compression, larger throttle body/AFM, bigger exhaust pipes, add exhaust headers while your at it. This should get you started in the direction your wanting. Don't know about pistons and such either!.

Who has the best prices on 10mm O ring injectors? 550 to 720cc

I went and ordered the MegaSquirt parts today, 2 items were on back order till june and july, but for the price I figured it be worth taking a look at. Since I have access to a whole department of engineers so soldering work and assembly should not be an issue.

So, 14mm is the standard O-Ring size for domestic, What is the standard O-Ring size for import? 9, 10mm?

I just wish there were more folks wanting the 3" system for the 280zx, I've been working my butt off saving money to get in on the run of 3" exhaust that JeffP was offering. but since there were not enough folks that wanted the "whole" system I guess just the downpipe part is being offered.

Kaminari no longer makes the wide body kits for the 280zx, the molds were destroyed a few years ago, Does anyone know of anybody that might have one full set laying around they would like to sell?. Their is a guy on ZCar.com that has posted a couple times that he has the full 7 piece kit and would take offers but I've sent numerious emails and have no response. I've looked at the Show Cars website but from what I've read here their kits are poorly made and would not want to spend my money foolishly.

The guy on Zcar.com that had the crank and rods for $400 is a local "Tampa" guy he already sold the crank and I bought the rods yesterday. Now does anybody have a Deisel crank they want to sell me??

Sigh, Family emergency came up, My mom had surgery on her foot a few days ago and had a pin in the foot, it shifted after she fell so I went down and spent the evening helping her about the house. I'll try and give the guy a call today! PS. I talked to the wife and her only comment was "How many cars do we need"? I replied One more should do it for now! 8)
