aviatorx, the pictures that showcars is using that are of your Z? did you take those pictures? or did he? If you took them and did not give him explicit permission to use them for other than to fix your problem then you can demand he not use them. I'd contact a lawyer!

The Red Z Pic David Karey posted is a Kamanari 280Z wide body kit . Unfortunetly its no longer available. Which really sucks because thats what I'd really like for my 280zx. I've been looking for someone with that kit that would part with it but no luck so far.

There was a guy (Gerry Grahm) on Zdriver that took the rear heavy bumper and designed a new one out of stainless steel, used waterjet technology to cut it, had it powdercoated, and used the MSA Aero Kit II for the front and rear. I emailed him some time ago and got the cad drawings for his mods.

WooHoo, just got an email, the last part of my order from digikey is on the way! Looks like Ive got some assembling to do!

I ordered the box they recomended on the website, cost a bit more but it will look very nice when done. The website has a complete set of instructions on building the kit, which components to install first, a few simple tests after each stage of assembly to test that section. Just make sure you assemble the parts in the correct direction such as resistors and such.

I ordered the parts on 5/16 The only part left to receive is a couple %5 carbon film resistor 1/2 watt

Just got an email from DigiKey as well, looks like we have the same back ordered parts!, One part left to get! and my LMB Heeger case should show up this week as well.

I do know that the P90A head can be converted to a solid lifter head, ZGad had a local shop do this to one of his spare P90A heads. I just wanted to know what the big issue was against the P90A head, If the hydraulic lifters could be clean/repaired/restored/replaced would they not be the better choice for use? From the post above I see that the solid lifters provide better top and bottom end power. Now bear with me a sec, Im a novice when it comes to engines.. I've also read that the solid lifter heads need to be adjusted from time to time, Is the advantage of power from the solid lifters greater than the advantage of not having to adjust the hydraulic lifters?

I've got to ask, why is the hydraulic lifters such a PITA?

It seems to be a rare trait for todays men to acutally look up to and respect their fathers. My brother inlaw acts as if his dad was slime most of the time, Now my father inlaw is no angel, pretty disfunctional family, but he's not really all that bad!. I've always wanted to have my dads patience, As kids my mom would say he gave lessons to Job, the bibilical character! I had a conversation with my mom a few months back about all the things I've gone through in my marriage, disfunctional Inlaws living next door, work and other stress. When I made the comment that I hoped I would have the patience that dad had and my mom laughed and said I was way past that and working on Sainthood! How do you answer that kind of statement?
