  1. Glad it inspired someone else. It has changed the entire from end of the car and looks killer! One of the better miss I've done.
  2. I'm curious what you 280 guys are using for a battery hold down. I looked at the the Z car billet piece but my car doesn't seem to have a threaded hole on the firewall to secure it. I'm open to options and would like some that looks cool. Also please take note that my car is V8 swapped and I'm running a larger than stock battery.
  3. I removed my splitter and replaced it with a simple T to the fronts. My rear brakes have a willwood proportion valve. Also my brake setup is identical to yours (Toyotas/willwood) and they work great.
  4. I've been trying to find a set for a while too.. No luck. I was emailing back and forth with the retro guy but he just quit responding.
  5. I don't remember what shocks I was running but when I took my suspension apart during my rebuild I noticed all of the gland nuts where loose. I used some Home made spacers in the tubes and used thread tape when I re installed them to prevent backing out. I haven't had any problems yet.
  6. Why not just make a one peice A-pillar gauge pod?
  7. Excellent. I'm definetly in for a clamshell/gauge pod.
  8. I agree, not worth it. I picked up a nice miller helmet for $100 at my local supply house last month.
  9. That's pretty cool. Mine is all cracked and broken. Any idea what one of these will go for?
  10. No I think it fits fine where it is lol. Love that thing man.
  11. I have shock tower braces and firewall braces as well.
  12. 48" I can roll around in a shop chair no problem even at 6'2. Being able to sit down in a chair and work on my car is awesome.
  13. Lol I just wanted to show it off. This thing is awesome.
  14. I had some spare time while I was building the car so I decided to put some LED lights in the "bumper" they are just cheap LED turn/running lights from eBay. I cut the holes out with a jig saw and squeezed the lights in. Then I just applied some silicone to keep them in place. Pretty simple.
  15. The other day I was filling up at the pump and I overheard a young kid speaking to his father "dad look how small that car is" LOL I bet it looked strange as I'm 6'2 225lb.
  16. If you notice just behind the radiator there is in fact an upper radiator support. I made the support using tube steel and heim joints.
  17. What I meant by front end is upper radiator support/intercooler etc. are all custom made and not factory. If the Gnose or zccjdm hinges differ from the factory hinges than I will have issues.
  18. Does anyone have pictures of these mounted? http://www.zccjdm.com/catalog.php/azcarbum/dt93862/pd2071655/_GNOSE_HINGES_
  19. Guys my cars front end is heavily modified. I have built everything around the stock hinges and clearances are very tight. Does anyone have photos of the different hinges and how they open? Do the g nose hinges do anything different besides open the hood further forward? I like the g nose hinges because they do no require locks\shocks To stay open. This is the style I'm after.
  20. Going to be tough to find a bunch of people to do this again.
