  1. None what so ever. The dominator has as much/little control that you give it. The dominator is able to hold damn near perfect numbers across the board. Not to mention the safety features it has.
  2. Unrelated question: Do you have access to vernier calipers? I'd love to know the size of those Pistons
  3. Holley dominator all the way. Tons of online support and lots of people runnig them. Myself and a friend got my Engine up and running very quickly (an hour) once everything was plugged up correctly. It really is amazing how easy it is to use. Plus it is self tunning. With that said an OEM computer is fine to use. with the use of HPtuners and a tuner there isn't a whole lot you can't do with an OEM ecu
  4. Although the fab work isn't as nice I did the same to mine. I should have tied the shock towers into the frame rails but I wasn't sure if I would have had the room. I'm not sure if the firewall brace I functional but it just felt like a good idea.
  5. While we are on the subject of caliper size does anyone know the size of the Pistons on the toyota 4X4 calipers?
  6. I'm almost positive they are the "big reds" 20.5249.00 that came out of the 993TT cars. I'll double check when I get to the shop next weekend
  7. The 2B brembo's came off of the 993's I think. The audi guys use them on the S4's too. They are pretty big brakes. They are 4 piston. I wasn't sure if going with a large 4 piston was worth all the trouble I'll end up going through. I had some 6 piston in mind but I got these for $200 so I'd like to use them if they are really that good.
  8. I'm in the middle of an EZ wiring harness install. Best $150 I ever spent.
  9. You still haven't made it clear how these mount. What does "Race car style" mean? Is the metal frame used or not. I think more people will be interested in a "factory replacement" style CF dash. I'm sure more info will give better results.
  10. Lol yeah more oil for sure! These LS3 pans don't hold squat.. What where you running at the time of the failure 5qtrs? Do me a favor after you spend the $200 shoot me a pic of the pan so I can duplicate it for free no for real..
  11. Makes sense. What's the plan? Better baffle?
  12. I'm looking to adapt these to the front of my 4 lug 280. It has 17" wheels and larger ZX front rotors right now. I plan to make some custom mounting brackets and size some rotors accordingly but before I did so I wanted to see if any of you guys have used these particular calipers before.
  13. http://forums.holley.com/showthread.php?15018-Low-oil-pressure-safety-feature&p=52614#post52614 Not sure if you any extra outputs on that HP system but there is an option for you.
  14. ^^^ Did you not have the dominator monitoring the oil pressure? How did you make it the whole way down the track with little to no oil pressure?
  15. Well based on sunnyz's bass ackward calculations and litmans measurements I ended up ordering a set of 40lbers with 14/8.5" lengths. I'm going to see what happens shortly. For $40 shipped its worth a shot.
  16. I could always be wrong but it seemed pretty straight forward
  17. ^^^ Not sure how you came up with that conclusion. This is a pretty basic concept. When I ordered my wheels john asked me for 2 measurements. The width and backspacing. If you know the width of the rim you want and the max back spacing available you can calculate the offset. So in conclusion the offset is irrelevant if you know the width & backspacing as explained to me by one of the best in the business. For what it's worth the offset ended up being -12 or -13 iirc
  18. Told you to stick with 11's LOL the offset is irrelevant. Backspacing is 5.5"
  19. I test fit some C6 manifolds too. Check my thread on tech there are a few photos I think
