  1. <---- Fairmount Park, by the Belmont Mansion?
  2. "Reading" that ad gives me a headache. I think we may have to re-think the barbeque....I don't think bondo burns as well as we might like. Though adding copious amounts of accelerant would probably work nicely.
  3. I just made a Flickr group for Classic Z cars. There was already a group for ALL Z cars, but this will be for S30's only. http://www.flickr.com/groups/1311050@N20/
  4. I am from Lindenwold. About a 10 minute drive to Atco.

  5. To keep the "_____" theme going under the hood I guess.
  6. Background: 1974 260Z with a Gen I 327 SBC As the title suggests, my turbo 350 automatic transmission shifts very hard between gears. It really seems to slam from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. I've only owned the car for a month, the PO said he mostly drove it like a manual, switching from 1 to 2 and then to D so it wouldn't upshift under heavy acceleration, I guess to protect the rear end which is original. Also, it won't stay running in gear when stationary. I have to shift into neutral so it doesn't bog down and stall. I'm thinking the two issues are not precisely related, but I know very little (read: nothing) about automatic transmissions. Any ideas? Just realized the title might be misleading (it's not a Turbocharged 350Z!) but I can't change it.
  7. Those who have used it and experienced benefits, are you using it just in the gas tank or oil, or a combination of the two? I'm a bit leery of adding it straight to the intake.
  8. What does this run-on sentence have to do with Seafoam or Redline? You forget to mention the part where you used one of the two products before trying to show off. Or maybe you did mention it and I just missed it since it's impossible to read what you write without proper punctuation.
  9. Very nice indeed. If you go down to the dealership I'm sure you could just ask them. If not, the paint code should be on the data sticker, I think it's in the middle of the firewall.
  10. I call it mother of pearl, or just pearl. It looks cream colored in dull light but when the sun or lights hit it the colors really come out. Here the hood looks purple or something: But here you can see that it's cream colored.
  11. Mine's not pure white, but what do you guys think? It's pearl colored, in the sunlight there's a lot of purple and other reflective shimmer to it.
  12. Glad to hear you got it back! I had my doubts about you ever seeing it again...
  13. No, it wasn't a 2+2. Looked like an older gentleman with curly hair. Gave him a thumbs-up when we went by!
  14. I'm in Atco, NJ, but I don't have a Z yet! Saw a pretty nice looking green 280 with a black hood driving north on Rt 73 this morning. Anyone you know? There's a 280 with a turbo motor in it that has been sitting for sale about a mile from my house. That's how I initially became interested in getting one. Looks to be in ok shape, the only reason I didn't buy it then was my wife was pregnant and had just recently become unemployed. I think someone hit it pulling into the driveway in the snow last winter because there's a gash in the quarter panel and the passenger door. Shame really, it hasn't moved. He should advertise here.
