In last months Hot Rod magazine(the one with the 05' mustang running 12s), they have an article on a camaro they built for the salt flats. In one picture it shows them using a nitrous bottle to cool the end of the crank to install the balancer. I would look up the details but I left it at work.

Yeah $50k or more sounds about right. I know I couldn't afford one anytime soon but it is really cool to see it progressing along. Shoot, I would be happy with any kit of theirs. I might be picking me up a 5.0 mustang in a couple days so maybe later on down the road if I get sick of the mustang I could build me a cobra. Time to go watch my FFR DVD again.

Yeah its pobably wise he doesn't try. Or maybe so, you'll get to play with an LS1. Yeah LTI isn't anywhere near what its cracked up to be. Yes, I learn alot but I could probably learn just as much in a shorter time on my own. Half the people there don't seem to care about being there and we spend half the day just goofing off. So Mike how do you like UTI? I wanted to go there and do the Hot Rod classes but really couldn't afford to move down there. So instead I am going to Lincoln Technical Institute in Grand Prarie which is like 20 minutes south of DFW airport. I also would love to work in the performance/customizing portion of the automotive field but at this moment I'm not sure where to start. I'm like half way through school so I still got awhile to think about it. Also what is it about these guys driving that makes them so horrible?

The biscayne; called CHICAYNE, was bulit by Rad Rides By Troy. They also built the Fastforward Fastback for ebay. It was on the show Rides on TLC a week ago. Both cars are bad to the bone.

If he doesn't want it I would be interested in taking it off your hands. For the right price of course.

By the way JeffP. About how much would it cost to have the solid crossmember bushings made? I think that is one of the greatest ideas I have seen for the ZX suspension yet and will definetly have to try it.

Guy, Are you using the stock exhaust manifolds on each side? From your other posts I got the impression that you have a stock exhaust manifold on the drivers side and a header on the other. If that is true, is it possible that could be one of your problems. To me it seems having the better flowing exhaust on the one side and the more restrictive stock manifold on the other would cause some sort of problem. Not sure but hope it helps. Jason

That video is of Darius' car. That car is crazy but so are his sportbike stunts. You can check out his car on darius240z.com He posted awhile ago on the chevy forum. He was explaining how he is trying to fix his lack of traction problems.

Really! I guess that means there is a hope for my N/A ZX! It needs some work before I can drive it on the street so I really have no idea how the thing performs. Hopefully one day soon I will find out.

Usually when the blinkers blink twice as fast it is because a bulb has gone out or they are not making a good connection. I would suggest checking all the bulbs. As for the dash lights I would go through all the connections and make sure they are clean and secure. After having some crazy electrical gremlins in my ZX all I can say is check everything over with a fine tooth comb. People love to butcher electrical systems; especially when it comes to installing an aftermarket radio.
