Like the title says I need a E12-80 Distributor with the Module, I live in Colorado springs, Colorado. I could trade some parts or I might have something you want let me know and maybe I can find it for you. I need this part to get my car running so it can be on the road in the spring.

They were also dealer option Appliance rims, A lot of the older rims look a lot alike but some have small differences. The rims I have, have a lip instead of a smooth slope like the ones in your pictures. I also had another set at one time that looked like yours except that the spokes were bowed out.

I have the 6-3-2 header on my car and I have a straight pipe to a cherrybomb on my 280z 2+2. I Love the sound my car isn't running at the moment but when it did it would be very quiet at idle but if you rev it some, it can get pretty loud but it still sounds good. Also my cherry bomb is at the end of the exhaust as opposed to in the middle like you want.

I saw a 2JZ-GE in the junkyard as the title says, I thought I would let any of you Colorado springs guys know. It has an automatic, I couldn't tell how many miles were on it but it looked pretty clean. The whole engine and components were there. I think engines at this Pick 'n' pull go for $200, you can check the site for sure, but I thought it would be a good base for someone wanting to go that route. If you need some help pulling it or you want to hang out with some more z guy's send me a PM, I also have parts and know some other Z guys in the area. There weren't any Z's in the junkyard, it sucks but I did grab some Eclipse GS seats for a buddy of mine. I am going to go back in a few days or weeks to look for some Yota 4x4 calipers and if there are some extra I will grab some. I hope to hear from some of the other Colorado springs guys, I'm over on the westside by Manitou springs.

I would make sure that your fuel pump is wired correctly, its hooked up to the right hoses, and that your getting power to the pump. If none of that works then its probably the relay but read the FSM before just buying parts.

No, I feel like in my opinion you can't have one with the other. That is just my opinion on it. I would rather be in a car that I could hear what was going on so I knew if something went wrong, and be able to feel the road and just the experience of it, I think too much comfort takes away from that experience.

If you want a nice modern sports car why just not buy one, I bought my Z because I want the Raw driving experience, I want to hear the road and the car. I want my car to be a Toy not an appliance, to each their own though.

You can paint that car whatever color you want its your car, but the Datsun purist's will find you haha.

That rust is not that bad I have seen a lot worse, also that "thingy" is the AFM or Air Flow Meter. I suggest you finish your class before you start anything major on your car or you study a lot about Z's because you will need the info down the road.

That is the same assembly as your talking about, he just had a picture of his out of the car.

The older Volvo injector clips also have the Push off clips and are pretty easy to find for cheap at the junkyard.

My bet is that the plastic couldn't handle the weight of the guages etc. Plus I don't think you would be able to mount the glove box door, and the holes for everything are most likely a little oversized to fit around the stock holes. The best thing I can think of if you wanted to save some weight and keep a stock look is take the Foam stock dash cover off and make brackets onto that and eliminate the stock metal frame.

Well he did say it was a 2.8 v6, not that it was at the moment. Plus the guy sounded like he didn't really know what he was talking about so most likely he bought the engine "built" from some other guy and is just going off what he said. That seems to be the case in a lot of craigslist people I meet.

Isn't the battery a direct power source for the ECU, so the later z guy's that have the EFI can't disconnect the battery but the early Z guy's can, or am I just wrong.

Haha sounds like me my DD has been a 1991 Dodge Colt Vista with 4WD, I drive it like a granny to save money on gas, plus it helps that the thing is gutless, doesn't help that 5th gear doesn't work though. I would love to have a Z that you could push when you want to and save gas when your feeling like it.

I'm going to guess there are going to be big problems under the cowl panel(piece with slots between hood and windshield.) and in the Battery tray area.

Do you have turning issues? It looks like if you turned the wheels it would rub, otherwise it looks awesome. I can't wait to see the finished look.

Do some research about the B.C.D.D. I believe that is what it is called. Its the piece on the bottom of your throttle body. The wiper motor is located under the cowl panel, which is the panel between the hood and windshield. Your wiper motor is most likely a bit corroded and needs to be cleaned up. What happens is there are two drain holes under the cowl panel they can get clogged up with leaves and dirt then water collects and leaves the wiper motor submerged partially leading to corrosion. I don't really have any advice on your "screeching sound" I suggest you do some more observing to figure out what it is. Also concerning your lights I suggest you clean up your hazard lights switch that tends to corrode sometimes also check your light switch and the connections.

Take a video, if possible so we can hear what noise your talking about because it could be anything. If you can't make a video try to describe it better and I'm sure you will get some more help.
