  1. 12.5v is not charging. 13.9-14.9v is what you want to see. What voltage are you getting at the alternator terminal. I suspect maybe the voltage is dropping too much to the battery and not charging at all. Did you have the alternator tested at a separate shop?
  2. Interesting concept. What features do you expect to have? Blue tooth or hands free are not very useful because you buried the mic. GPS could be good G-FORCE METER for sure but remember it would be biased by not being mounted at the centre of mass.   3. Your going to need a few more details here. Is the 2jz complete? Why not just use the stock ECU? It should fire up without any of this stuff on the stock ECU. I assume you want to tune for a big turbo is the reason for standalone so the JZ should have most of the sensors you need. Infinity 6 $1399.95 Have you considered Megasquirt?   4. I have gotten tons of feedback from the Datsun Facebook parts group. Just looking to be a little unique with my car. I keep hearing "Stock" and "Dont touch perfection" but that's really boring. You go to any car show and its the unique cars or the 200K+ perfect restorations that get the attention. Eh. Its just a random beer thought I would share with the community. Probably wont act on it but If anything I would make these lights removable so as not to wreck the stockers. No need to ruin those for this idea. Its only money in the end.
  5. Looking to get some feedback on this concept. Was just tinkering with tail light ideas trying to create something unique and mean looking. Certainly not DOT approved but you can get away with murder where I am. In the day I would be black mesh and lit up from behind at night. Idea kinda comes from the Challenger tail.

  8. On the CAS sensor you made. Could you give a few more details? What year jeep did this come from? Did all you have to do is cut a grove in the shaft?
