  1. Is this rod part of the hydraulic slave cylinder?
  2. Unless you spot prime with epoxy, that sh*tty spray can stuff will just allow moisture to penetrate underneath, which in turn will allow rust to develop. After you sand down the pitted rusted areas, wash them down with PPG metal prep to treat the metal. Then I would at least use zinc chromate primer in a spray can if you can find it instead of that spray lacquer primer.
  3. What about the larger "finned" toyota calipers and these wheels. I searched every page and didn't see anyone using the larger caliper. TIA, Scott
  4. I found the "corrected" brace drawing and sent it to a local CNC Waterjet shop for a quote in steel, keep you posted if anyone is still interested in these.
  5. I talked with Mike at New Old Stock Motorpsorts who sells the Area 51 parts, they will anodize the parts to whatever Mil Spec I want for a small additional fee so I'm going with them. I'll be using MIL-A-8625 F Type II Class 1 clear anodizing on them.
  6. Does it feel like its starving for fuel, try the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure, these old cars are notorious for rusty gas tanks.
  7. Nice tip Paul, I'm all over that mod. Scott
  8. I've got a couple to choose from, PM sent.
  9. The Z32 fuel pump is located in the tank and would not be an easy swap.
  10. I've got an '87 front exhaust pipe but it needs to be welded back together where I cut it to get the turbo off the car. I can weld it up but I need to trim some of that outer shield away to do that. That shouldn't be any big deal. PM me if you are interested.
  11. I too have a nice N42 square port, bead blasted, painted with new studs and bolts with the EGR opening capped.
  12. Besides OEM Nissan, both Hastings and Federal Mogul make a very nice chrome ring set for about $75-$80 if you are trying to save some bucks.
  13. I've got one that cuts in half, you'll just need to trim that outer sheild and weld it back together.
  14. You can easily tell by looking at the side of the pistons and comparing the ring gaps, the turbo pistons have a larger gap between rings.
  15. Thanks for the info Pete, I was able to find his sketch in a thread, I'll check out a shop I know and see what they say.
  16. Gary, do you still have any disks left? Sorry but your PM box must be full. Scott
  17. dsommer or anyone else that may know, who is making that rear brace to clear the finned cover? TIA, Scott
  18. Dude, did you want this harness, if not I've got someone else asking about it now.
  19. I've got those from an '87. I'll send you some pics to your email. Scott
  20. I just removed one from a '77 and its not cut up, that should work for you. Hopefully it will fit into a large USPS flat rate box.
  21. Thanks. The problem around here is the minimum batch price is $200 regardless if its just a couple parts, sometimes you might be able to find a plater willing to add a couple parts to someone elses job for a few bucks. We used to find shops to anodize small parts that we used to make at home all the time in California, not here.
  22. Is anyone using either the Area 51 Billet Mustache Bar sold by NOS Motorsports or the Arizona Z Car Mustache bar? I'm looking for any feedback you can provide. I'm also wondering if rubber mounts can be inserted in place of the poly mounts. I talked to Dave at AZ car yesterday and expressed that I wouldn't consider a machined aluminum part completed until it had a surface finish applied such as anodizing. This not only penetrates the surface of the aluminum and makes the surface very hard but also prevents oxidation. I was surprised that that he was unwilling to have it anodized and suggested using crappy clear Krylon paint. I can't find any contact information for New Old Stock Motorsports on their website to discuss if finishing is an option with their products. Anyone deal with these guys? TIA Scott
