Curious if anyone has done a shaved door handle job. I see the shaved/filled side lights all the time but never the handles yet. Just looking for ideas, pictures and opinions before I decide if I should do it or not. Thanks, Scott

With the stock ECU and EFI you will be hard pressed to run a stage 2 or 3 cam. The stock system doesn't like much more than 260 advertised duration. Now Megasquirt is a different animal, you can use whatever cam you would like.

I just drilled out the broken stud and welded in a new bolt. I found the same length and metric pitch at Home Depot.

You can use the Bosch ones or buy the cheap ones on Ebay. Bosch P/N 1-287-013-003 -

I have a couple Sata's and the Iwata LPH-400. Its a totally different animal but it lays out paint and clear like glass. Now for your occasional paint job, the Devilbiss 670 is a great gun as well. A buddy just bought the cheap finish line gun and it does a nice job as well. -
If you have a '78 with the stock head you need a N47 exhaust manifold.

I'm curious if anyone has tried the MSA stage 1 turbo cam and has any feedback on it. The durations are 260/250 but its ground on a 114 LSA, much wider than stock and I think would make for a smooth idle, reduced overlap and increased throttle response.

hey if you not busy this weekend you should swing by and check out the pair of skyline gtr seats that i got. in a comparison to the stockers its a huge improvement! plus we could use a little help troubling shooting the engine if you not busy. sunday would work best since my cousin is getting married tomorrow. anyways just drop in whenever!

It just gives you an idea of how radical the cam is. The higher the 'stage' the more duration and more lift the cam will have. Higher stages typically require more compression for the larger cam to work as well or you end up with a dog. Your basic stock motor with headers will work well with a stage 1 cam.
