    i got some pics here: before after it only took a week edit: actually it looked much worse before, thats the valvecover on my dad's car mine was really grimy

    its going to take a while to get it clean. what i did on mine is i sanded it smooth with 100-400 (thats all i had) and then polished it with a buffing wheel until it got shinier. then i rubbed it out with semi-chrome, it took a while but it was definitly worth it cause it looks like chrome now

    if i can get my car to do 12's on the street, 11's w/slicks on the track i'll be happy. besides the car isnt going to be just a drag racer, its gonna be a weekend autoX, drag race, track day car. I want to do road racing someday but im going to buy another Z or miata specifically for that. By the way if could get the times above, could i get 10's with 100 shot of NOS? (im not worried about blowing the welds on my intake )

    i was curious because everyone with 11 or 10 sec times (at least those who post it) all had engine transplants from other cars. (ie skyline, 300ZX, grand national ect)

    in paint shop use the jpeg optimizer it works really good. sorry for bringing up such an old topic
