  1. Awesome man, but for cheap insurance.... buy a freakin' new belt!
  2. I guess that's the more logical thing to do, lol... but for those who wanted otherwise...
  3. There are, Just gotta upload them... too busy with work, etc...
  4. Yeah, I would like to know also.... as it being that this forum is ALL ABOUT HELPING OUT YOUR FELLOW Z guy, I guess I should take my RB writeup down so that no one can learn from it, and so no one could have bitchen cars... $0.02
  5. Why not just get a Z31 N/A Crossmember? I'm sure you can find those at any local junker.
  6. Unless your wiring skills are that good, you might, but the driveshaft, fuel lines, fuel pump, tranny, clutch, pan... Seriously... don't rush it, you'll end up forgetting something and f*cking up your motor. Think in your head if its worth it to slap it all together to drive it for 5 minutes then blow it up.
  7. Good luck, that's the plan, but hard to say, if the motor isn't in, you're not going to get that thing fired up by the weekend.
  8. I went to Powertrain Industries... When you mock up the tranny, put the car on level ground and measure the distance between the face of the diff flange to the transmission seal. Tell them that measurement, tell them one end is a 300ZX TT (30 Spline) and telll them what car the diff came out of and they can usually make it spot on. At least for me they did.
  9. Just get it shipped, oh yeah, get some oil filters from Shea too... part number is uh... xxxxx-55Y00. I forgot it. As Shea for the "55 Yo" Oil filter and he'll know exactly what you're talking about.
  10. You could go either way on the exhaust, but most guys will probably say 3". I'm going to tune my car on the current 2.5" setup on my car, but after my big turbo comes into play, that whole setup is going to change to 3".
  11. That's what I was thinking... a friend of mine rebuilt a RB25 with all 26 goodies (minus the head). I guess I gotta look through the thread to find this.
  12. Hmm, good stuff. But looking at the prices, that adapter aint cheap =P
  13. I know it can be done, but is it a good thing? Any advice? Why you ask? I kind of like the RB26DETT ITB's and plenum and the TT, but don't really wanna go that far to modify the pan etc... Well, it's just a shoot in the bucket for now.
  14. Call Nismoparts and ask for Shea, tell him that "Q" sent you. He's the best deal around for that kind of stuff.
  15. Well, for those of you who don't know, some transmissions have different types of clutches. One type is a push type, it pushes the release bearing against the pressure plate from one side. The other is a pull type, (I'm not sure how this works, if someone can elaborate that would be great). And yes, I am talking about a transmission.
