  1. I bought it from Brian, who is a friend of another Brian floating around here somewhere that drives the KGC10. (Which again, thanks a lot!)
  2. That's what I was thinking...like this guy's swap (sorry if I forgot your name!)
  3. Related Question... Would it be better to mount the BOV before the intercooler or after the intercooler?
  4. Guys, I was thinking about the plug and play AEM System, but I want to get rid of the AFM, and the extra wires or what not (if that's even possible). Mainly I was thinking of a MoTec M600 or something equivelant. I want the most basic, most wire reducing system available [using the stock crank angle sensor, none of that mount a trigger BS]. Any reccomendations?
  5. My RB25 is going into a 240Z so I've got none of those luxuries (AC or Powersteering).
  6. Anyone have any idea about stock injectors if they just drop right in?
  7. Thanks for all of your help, I went and looked on the forums at RB25DET.org and found some info too. I've concluded the following... RB20DET Flywheel - Good to go on RB25 Trans Z32 NA Clutch - Good to go on RB25 Trans Z32 Turbo Clutch - No go Z32 Turbo Flywheel - No go Last question...T/O Bearing? Which vehicle should I use this from. BTW ProjectRB240SX, Thank you for the info, it's helping me save money =)
  8. So if I use a Z32 NA Clutch (240mm), and the RB20DET Flywheel, it should be fine? What about the Z32 Turbo Clutch (250mm)? I don't think I will have to worry about the Neo Flywheel or clutches, not going in that direction. I got a ECR33 setup coming.
  9. I called Fidanza to see if they could give me some help about their product and they referred me to Jim Wolf to answer that question...let's just say I didn't call Jim Wolf. Anywho, Fidanza makes an alluminum flywheel for the RB20DET Part # 143341, do any of you know if this flywheel will fit the RB25DET? How are the two flywheels different between the motor (if any). I am planning to mate up this flywheel to a ACT 6-Puck Clutch Part Number NS1-HDR6. I'm going to call up ACT to find out if that clutch mates up to the RB25DET Tranny because I saw the link on http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2motorsports/act6pucclutk1.html and didn't trust the site to see if it fit. Disregard this info, I called ACT and they said it won't work So my next question is, are there any Z32 clutches that will work (or Z32 bellhousing swap)? The reason I ask is because I cannot afford a nice Exedy or ORC Twin Plate Clutch so I am looking for an ACT alternative. Please advise about the flywheel, and about the clutch if you have experience with any of these two produts. Thanks a lot guys.
  10. It looks like a Japanese Knockoff. Below - Spirit Garage Header BTW, I have my header for sale, MSA 6-1 2.5" Flange
  11. I use the Yokohama AVS-ES100's 205/55R15 Front, 225/50R15 Rear...Totally love these bad boys. My wheel/tire...
  12. Yokohama AVS-ES100 Tires on a JDM SSR Longchamp Wheel 15x7 225/50R15
  13. I guess refunding money never hurt. At least those people didn't hve to fight for the money. BTW, anyone know of any good RB25DET Turbo Manifolds to get? Should I go internal or external wastegates?
  14. Just to check up on that Matt, the guy has not only bought stuff on ebay, he has also sold stuff on Ebay. The guy who is selling those manifolds also recently sold a $600 turbo and recieved good feedback. I would trust him in my opinion (just incase you didn't see all of his feedback). BTW I don't know the guy who is selling the auction. -Quoc
  15. If you could please check on that RB25 that would be sweet. K Watanabe only had RB26DETT's in stock. A little out of my budget. Flashoptions listed phone numbers on their website as Tel : 011-60-12-3896600 Fax : 011-603-42525225 So I have no idea if that's even anywhere close to English. ___NOTE Just contacted Flash Options, they are located in Japan.
  16. That looks about the best way to go about it. Great pictures BTW that really helps out some noob like me.
  17. Matt, was this mount a Z31 mount? Or did you cut the stock mount which was then cut? I'm kind of confused. Also replying to Stony, did you use a RB20DET Tranny? Okay, I notice that most of you guys have the tranny mount where the bolts slide in from the side. I have a 1970 Z, and tranny mount is totally different. It has the style where it bolts straight up into the car. What do you suggest I do for this?
  18. Alright, after saving up enough money on my 21 year old college budget, I have finally decided to go to the next step towards getting my beloved motor o mine. I am wondering if anyone of you know any shops, sources for RB25's (I plain out don't have money for the 26) located in Southern California, or overseas for that matter that won't cost me a load of money for shipping. I am looking to spend $2500 or less for a full front clip (which I have found so far). Primarily, if you know reliable sources, that would be best. -Quoc
  19. I hear they are pretty good. I mean it would nice to get rid of that crossover manifold. When I go RB I plan to go for it. Some people on this forum fabricate their own, I just don't have those kind of skills. I can source some for you if you need. Let me know which route you want to go.
