I need help finding these grommets, apparently only available through Nissan as an entire headlight assembly... does anyone know of anyone who makes these aftermarket? Or any cool solutions that would help the set screw? I'm going to be purchasing new adjustment screws (the ones you adjust from the outside up/down/left/right) Nissan part number 26022-19900 Should I just go to the nuts/bolts/fasteners place and see if they have any threaded sleeve type things?

The only forged pistons that came from factory if I recall correctly was the Nismo 400R (R33). Come to think of it the Z-Tune R34 did as well... and even the N1 blocks didn't have forged pistons... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Do a good tune up, drive it stock, and work on suspension/brakes/chassis/bushings... There's no point in doing a huge motor swap then realizing you can't stop, or you can't put power to the pavement

It all depends on what your HP goals are... If you're going for more than 450 then yea you could replace all the fancy stuff... but the RB25/26 can handle a ton of power on the stock bottom end

On a second note as well... factory RB26's (R32's and R33's) if I'm not mistaken their wastegates were set for 10 psi, and the GT-R's had boost restrictors of 1 bar from the factory as well.

The numbers are bone stock out of the factory etc... As I'm sure you weren't running the factory exhaust, factory cat, and all that stuff were you?

Well chances are if you haven't heard of them.. they're no good.

I did not get any positive vibes from John @ H4Lights... The Hella Housing units he quoted me $139.98, so I asked what else he had... he mentioned some Bosch units for $60/pair w/bulbs, I mentioned I didn't want bulbs and was just trying to buy housings so I can drop HID's in, then he ranted that HID's scatter light yadda yadda, (as research has shown properly aimed and properly designed housings with cut offs and what not will work perfectly well)... then the guy never responded back to me. How about scratch the whole RB20 idea and go RB25
