  1. I personally cut 1 coil off the back of my Tokico springs... and 2 coils off the front (I cut the smaller progressive springs up top)... Wasn't sure about the spring rate on progressive springs but I have no complaints except my left rear wheel rubbing
  2. Problem with 15" is in the US... not many tires are offered above a 225 width
  3. They make the TE37V's with a dish... but also I used to run 15x7 Rays TE-37 (regular) +0 offset [way before they had the TE-37V]...
  4. Roll the fenders and use heat... I just lowered my car some more and drove it over the weekend to JCCS... the rear left tire had a nice groove of rubber missing from rubbing on the inner fender... I even have camber adjustment in the rear... NEED TO ROLL!
  5. You can run the damn line over the roof if you want... just as long as the line maintains fluid and doesn't leak you're golden.... Also... properly bled lines =
  6. I personally just used Datsun Maxima (1st gen) round flanges and it bolted right up to my 240Z! No need to pay for expensive pieces and I'm running R180 with CV's
  7. Where in OC are you? You can come look at my bar... I don't think mine is an MSA bar... I bought mine from TMC... Now is a good opportunity to use my snazzy ramps that I built to get the back end of the car up without jacks
  8. 240Z's have two different tranny mounts... On the earlier 240Z's (Series 1) the tranny bolts way higher into the transmission tunnel than the later 240Z's (that were Series 2)... Until Nissan changed their design with the transmissions... I've went over this already somewhere... I don't really know how a 69-73 mount would work in all chassis... either that or my S1 240Z was screwed up
  9. ^ Very Cool... although I would like to see that person's references... lol
  10. I've got 6k... they look blue when warming up but they turn nice and white (not ricey at all)
  11. Don't ever ever go in debt for a car/hobby (even wife/girlfriend/[boyfriend if that's what you're into])... you want your heard earned money to work for you... not work for the rest of your life paying off debt. That's just my $0.02... if you can't afford to play with the big dogs, beat the puppies
  12. It's a nice kit for bolt-on... they make decent power and I know a few guys who use em... but you just wanna check your cost issues etc.. and your goals
  13. Or get a turbo with a bolt on internal wastegate and vband flange combo!
  14. Most likely the turbo you're going to buy is going to have a bolt on internal wastegate... just keep that in mind.
  15. For the most part the 6 bolt exhaust was a Nissan unique thing... most applications out there in the real world are V-Band, 4 bolt, or the 5 bolt internal gate setup... Go get your downpipe re-welded
  16. I've ordered stuff through them a long long time ago.. no problems.
  17. But you have more flexibility with a GT30 series as well
  18. I also went to the junkyard, and pulled the Nissan Consult plug from the car, and wired it up to my chassis harness on my RB25DET
  19. BTW... which "Check Light" are you talking about? The TX/RX/CK wires for the Nissan Consult plug all work with Nissan Diagnostic Tools or some sort of Nissan DataScan software
  20. Don't forget if you want better throttle response you could go 2871 or 2876 R units
  21. Also on a second note... the HKS Manifold doesn't have a lot of flexibility as far as turbos go on a 240Z
