  1. mike, the marquee i believe is the one off of i-10 by memorial, i think? i'll try to get more information on it and post it the middle of this week. name's steven by the way. e-mail me at sleeper-z@houston.rr.com; i think i'm going to scoop up some draglites this week if everything goes right. the only other person i've talked to in person with a z is Igor, which is the red 260z with the white stripes. thanks, steven m. ps. please e-mail me at sleeper-z@houston.rr.com about the wheels.

  6. Well the rattle can wasn't holding up to well so I powder coated my control arms (tubular; chromoly). 7. Hey, I've decided to chagne the way my alternator is mounted. I've fabricated a chassis brace for the alt. bracket but i really don't trust it, although i do have solid motor mounts i rather just have the alternator to the motor. the only problem is my heads don't have any mounting holes and the "low mount" type style won't clear the steering shaft. a "side mount" would be perfect for the drivers side but i can't seem to find any. Thanks, Steven M.
  8. the past owner of my shell 'noszcar' ran a 9.90 on a open r200 and 26" slicks out rear. but an independent rear can only go so far... -steven m.
  9. I've got the sensing and main wire, but where do i hook up the indicator lamp? can I leave it empty, ground it, put a resistor, or hook it up to a light? i want to run it w/o an indicator lamp though. thanks, steven m.

  11. i think i'm opting for 18 gauge. talked to my teacher about it and he also recommended 18. for support i'm going to cut out the stock outboard box sections and weld in some structural steel channels (probably 4 X 1-1/2 X 3/16) and possibly triangulate it or X it with another peice. This way, it should be stronger and i can have a lower seat position.
  12. alrite cool, now that i got the right name for them 'floor support channel' i've been able to find alot of sources. thanks for the quick replies!
  13. Hi Guys, I was wondering what is the recommended Gauge to use for the floor support and floor pan? Thanks again, Steven M.
  14. Well, I'm either being cheap or smart, but I'm leaning towards smart. I'm trying to locate some steel channel with wings as shown. I don't want to buy some sort of "kit" but just bare channel so it will be cheap, if worse comes to worse, I'll buy regular channel and just weld off of that, but I like the idea of the wings. Also, does anyone here know what the dimensions are for the floor support on the 240z's that Zedd Findings makes? Great website you guys have here. I've found everything i read useful information which is rare on automotive forums. Thanks! Steven M.
