L series engines are tough! In good running order they can withstand a crapload. I remember I missed a gear once and revved the car off the tacho twice (rev rev heh) think thats over 8000rpm. Didnt do any damage to the thing. L's love revs!

280zx is a hybrid that can go either way, for luxury or sports. Either way its still apart of the Z family even if it does have a X on it.

I do the exact same things. When it comes to heavy traffic I let people change lanes and merge, but in a certin order just to help keep the traffic moving (then you get the random bastard that wants to jump the queue of 1 merge then you go).

If it was a su carb engine with mild tuning like how my Z is then it would be perfect for him. I must admit when I was 16 and learning to drive I have the nack to drive anything with wheels but the Z was a nice car to learn to drive in and still is fun to drive today. It was great cause it wasnt do bloody powerful that it would get me into trouble but it had some power to keep me happy (not anymore though haha). Having a stuffed gearbox didnt help but learning to drive in the Z let you feel what exactly was going on with the car (everything is pretty much manual no automatic stuff in it). But, if your dont want to sell the car you dont have to. Its your car you can do what you like with it. I wouldn't sell it to him. Ok I'm almost the same age as him but if he doesnt seem like a car person and you dont feel that he would be to confident with the car then it could be a bad thing letting him behind the wheel of a car with some large power.

Yea he lives in Brisbane, hes on the Z car club of queensland panel. Gavin September. I'm not exactly sure everythign he makes but he does fiberglass parts for early model z's (no zx's) Hes now starting to get into building suspension upgrades. Last time I spoke to him he was designing some strut tower braces. The wheels are 17x7 in Performance Lotus's. I need spaces for them though the slightly scrub on full lock.

Well today I did the horn + flip the bird action cause I got cut off (The fella then wanted to follow me, but I went into the car parking centre I wanted to go to and I never saw him again. I hate fighting, but there is no other way to signal someones a moron. Some day I wont have the luxury of having a carpart there and a fight will happen. And I dont go off at people when its my fault.). Another time I had a mate hanging out the window gonna throw a slurpy. I'm usually listening to music all the time (I got a doof doof system) but I dont know, I guess driving is the only way I can vent my anger heh.

Improved suspension. How so, from other peoples comments it sounds worse. And riding in my mates ZX feels like its rolling around every corner.

Hey all, Lately I've had alot of road rage and today I found myself giving someone the bird (and I know its going to get me into serious trouble some day). But I was wondering what are some of the things other people do to help them stop getting so much road rage or just plain out abusing someone else on the road when they've done something wrong. Its not a ZX. There is a rusted pos in "Friday After Next" its either a 260z or 280z cause it has those big arsed bumpers on it.
