    I played doom2 again a few days ago with a few mods so I could have mouse look and jump. The game was so fast but still freaked because of the ammount of times a random monster was @ my back wanting to rip my heart out. I got doom3 and loved every minute of it. And I will be playing it again very soon.

    But if you didnt want to make any hood mods you could just get for example a greddy plenum to replace the rb20/25 plenum. That will also reduce intercooler piping length. But gettin the flange for the driveshaft will be harder if you get a halfcut? Unless you can ask the supplier of the cut for the driveshaft?

    There are a few places that have experience with re-tuning these. Basically the ROM is replaced with a socket so you can swap the ROM's. There are a number of ROM editors for the RB series of engines that let you play with the mapping. Real-time editors on the dyno are the better way.     Are they bolts just like on the carb versions. Where the exhaust bolts also hold the bottom of the intake manifold bolts.

    Thought that engine had a different name. All the L18's and 20's i've seen were 4's. But hey you never know heh.
