I am in the process of doing just that. I decided I wanted a molded look rather than the usual look for the ZGs. I used Austin's method to initially mount the standard flares I got from MSA. I built up the inside top where they meet the fenders with tiger-glass to give more surface to add 3M 08116 panel adhesive. I still bolted them on using countersunk bolts and red lok-tite after applying the panel adhesive. I then filled in the bolt cutouts using several layers of fiberglass and molded the flares to the body with Rage Gold. I haven't started painting yet. I don't even have the primer on, hopefully tomorrow. When I get the primer laid down I will probably have more smoothing to do before paint. I did a lot of reshaping on both ends of the flares to get them to mold in. I am also molding in my side skirts to the fenders and the flares are molded to the skirts. I will post some picts after the primer goes on.
Please post a few pictures of your work on the ZG's i'm really curious as to how it looks.

No input on the adapter from me, but couldn't you just return to MSA? That's what we did when we got ours and they were the wrong gender; we were just out a few bucks shipping. The cost of the correct ones are nearly half the price, so a few bucks couldn't hurt.
The part numbers for the Earls stuff we got is:
2x 592032 http://www.holley.com/592032ERL.asp
2x 63010110 http://www.holley.com/63010110ERL.asp
This setup worked perfect for us.
Well i bought the 63010110 braided ss lines and they dont have the same thread pitch as the hard SS line on the car.

Hi all,
I am looking to get a type 1 airdam (no ducts) for my 240Z. The problem is that shipping to the netherlands is a mayor problem. I am willing to pay any reasonable amount but the prices for shipping on ebay are just nuts. They are asking more than $600 for shipping!!!. Does anyone know of a good way to get an airdam to the netherlands????
Perhaps It's cheaper to cut an airdam in halve, ship it and mold it back together???
Is it not possible to just write my address on the airdam and ship it without packaging it?
Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Xander
good god $600 for shipping
If you'd like i could buy a new type 1 airdam (Fiberglass or Urethane?) from MSA and ship it over the the Netherlands. I'm sure it would be cheaper than $600.
PM me you address and i'll try and provide you with a price quote for the air dam shipped to you door.

money is not really a factor.
I aspire to someday be able to use the above mentioned statement in life.

Just out of curiosity has anyone every tried to mold the ZG flares into the Z body to make them look like a part of the fenders as oppose to bolt on flares?

All those harnesses are supplied to MSA by a member of classiczcars.com named Zs-ondabrain (Dave). He make some real quality products for Z car such as headlight harnesses and LED Tail light conversions.
The link below should give you a little more incite into the headlight harness.

I think you'll find that even with the inflated shipping rates the guys selling on eBay are the cheapest.

My car is a 240Z with ZG flares and 17X8 (F) , 17X8.5 ® Zauber mesh wheels. I have decided to paint the car a Viper red and am wondering should I add pearl to the paint or not. If I am to add pearl what color pearl should I add to the red paint?
Also if any of you guys have examples of red paint with pearl and could share a few pictures it would be greatly appreciated.
below is a example of viper red paint:

Any one see any obvious pitfalls in trying to install the compressor, condenser, and dryer from a 88 300ZX to the old dealer installed A/C that came with a 240Z.

Does anyone have pictures of an all white interior in a S30? I complained about the heat build up in my car and my brother suggests making the interior white and after I laughed and thought about it, I thought it would look good.
I dont know about a white interior but a white exterior will reduce the temperature inside you car by up to 15 degrees over a black exterior.

I shipped the original seat cover overseas and had them make a new seat cover that was a little bit more modern looking. The original seat cover was completely disassembled and used as a blue print to cut the new seat covers.

I am looking for parts for my 240Z A/C. Let me know what you have for sale.
I am mainly looking for the condenser, dryer and hoses for a 240Z AC system. But if the price is right i'll buy the your whole setup.

Took me a while to find this I remembered the car but not the thread title.
Yea i looked at that car earlier too but was really hoping someone would have a red car with gold rims.

Anyone have a picture of a red S30 with gold rims with a polished lip?
I am trying to gauge how good it will look on a S30. I have seen in on a few different cars and on some cars it looks good and on others its a disastrous color combo.
Below is the picture for refrence:

Awesome looking car bro. Could you please provide a few details about the suspension. How much has the car been lowered and what size wheels (offset/backspacing) and tires are you running?
Also thanx for the step by step guide on car painting; I will be using your steps within the next month or so to paint my car.

Do you guys have an approx timeline as to when this spoiler will be available for sale?

Is anyone here running 275/40/17 tires on the rear of a S30 with ZG Flares and conventional suspension (Tokico Blues and lowering springs)?
If you are running 275's; what is you rim size and offset?
