  1. No input on the adapter from me, but couldn't you just return to MSA? That's what we did when we got ours and they were the wrong gender; we were just out a few bucks shipping. The cost of the correct ones are nearly half the price, so a few bucks couldn't hurt.

The part numbers for the Earls stuff we got is:

    2x 592032 http://www.holley.com/592032ERL.asp

    2x 63010110 http://www.holley.com/63010110ERL.asp

This setup worked perfect for us.

  2. Ok i feel really stupid about asking this question but i'd rather ask it than damage my gauges.

How do you remove these plugs from the back of the gauges? are these notched or are they threaded?

I'm trying to refinish my dash and hence want to remove all the gauges and wiring. I messed around with plugs a little and they seem to simply turn in place and not pop out.

  3. I am trying to get the old OEM shocks out and put in the new Tokico HP's but need to remove the Gland Packing assembly (as it is called by the OEM Service manual in the Front Axle and Suspension section). The Service Manual says to use Special Tool No. 35500000; unfortunately i do not have a Special Tool No. 35500000. The front suspension and the rear suspension have a different pattern Gland Packing assembly.

I figured I'd ask you guys for guidance before using the ever popular hammer to try and bang it out.

Like everyone else I am trying to get the best bang for my buck. please QC my supply list and provide some good direction.

Also am i missing any key ingredients? I already have a air compressor and HVLP gun.

  6. I've have a couple people asking me about the rims. This is everything I know. They are ROTA RB-R size 17x8.5 with a +4 back space. Stock lugs I think that comes out to a 4x114.3.

The tires are a 225/45/17. I got them very cheap from Craigslist so I'm going to change them when I start driving it. I think I can run a 245/40/17 front and back. And maybe a 255/40/17 in the back.

I'm running coilovers front and rear.

How much has the car been lowered?
