  1. Today while i was taking the old brake rotors out and noticed that the little rubber boot on the drivers side ball joint on the outer tie rod was missing.

What is the cheapest fix for this problem? Do i have to replace the outer tie rod end and ball joint? or can i just go out and buy a new rubber boot for the existing ball joint?

I'm on a rather tight budget currently and need to save every dollar i can.

    Thanx

    John

Below are the terms of the rental:

    (1) Cost of rental will be $30 + $15 shipping = $45. (I will provide the renter of the fender roller with a tracking number)

    (2) A $200 deposit is required and will be refunded back when the Fender Roller Kit is returned.

    (3) Rental is for 3 days (The day you receive and the day you return are not counted)

    (4) A late fee of $10 per day if held longer.

    (5) Renter ships the fender roller back at his/her expense and provides me with a tracking number.

**I am not responsible for any damage to the vehicle or person while using the Eastwood Fender Roller or Heat Gun.

  3. Well I want to make a custom spoiler for my 240Z and so I drew a few sketched. Please provide you opinion as to which spoiler you like best or is the car better off without a spoiler or suggest a new design.

The spoiler will be made of fiber glass. I’ll first make a consumable mold out of Styrofoam and then glass over it.

  4. I might have an extra set of brackets. But I'm currently travelling for work and you'd have to wait approx 2 weeks for me to get home and see if I still have the other brackets.

I bought a set of the early 80’s maxima brackets from a forum member and also had a local machine shop modify the old Flat maxima bracket that I picked up form a junk yard. Below is a link to the drawing I had provided the Machine shop with to modify the bracket.

  5. No input on the adapter from me, but couldn't you just return to MSA? That's what we did when we got ours and they were the wrong gender; we were just out a few bucks shipping. The cost of the correct ones are nearly half the price, so a few bucks couldn't hurt.

The part numbers for the Earls stuff we got is:

    2x 592032 http://www.holley.com/592032ERL.asp

    2x 63010110 http://www.holley.com/63010110ERL.asp

This setup worked perfect for us.

    Kool...thank you for the help.

I'll contact MSA and see if i can return their lines.

  6. you can bump a parking curb and avoid cracking your fiberglass... or worse yet putting a hole in it...

trade off is its harder to repair if you do break it its not as easy to fix as fiberglass

Is there any difference between the 2 materials as far as paint goes?

I plan to paint the Air dam to match my car.
