  1. yeah its really easy to do actually, I give you a summed up version. There will be 4 wires for your blocks (color White W/Red) you will see one of the Red/white's going to your starter, you will peel back the wiring harness and follow that to the fuse block, then remove it. Go to Walmart buy a schosche fuse block and get 50A fuses. Take a 4 or 6 Gauge wire and have it go to the top of the new fuse block, and then have it attach to the +Pos battery terminal on the starter. then take the other two wires and attach them to the other side of the new fuse block, then your clean sailing without having to stress over these ancient wiring blocks.
  2. no, you can't. let me get the thread how to upgrade them though, those fusible links control alot of important wiring, on my 280z I have two of those boxes that control Alternator Ignition fuel injection/ignition/spark headlight relay. on your 75 it is different. it controls your Ignition alternator/ignition http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fusiblelinks/index.html there is a link to an easy upgrade that will save you ALOT ALOT ALOT of stress with your Z.
  3. the low tire, no interior, half rust, shock hole. I thought it was pretty hot in a ghettto way.
  4. little out of context, but there you go.
  5. 17x9.5 on the rear? and 17x8 in the front? or different offsets, also about how much lower than stock are you right now, I can't get enough of how those fit!!
  6. those wheels are so nice looking!!! How much is your car lowered and what size tire are you running? and offset
  7. hmmmm, looks iffy... You better get one of those running so Im not the only L-series datsun up at Malstrom air force base for the races haha. I would suggest parting it out and finding a more reliable vehicle as a secondary, take my word for it on this one, ask me how I know...
  8. Hey now, this 16 year old makes the payments on the 2008 Tundra crew max and as far as $2400 for wheels, you couldn't be more wrong if you raised em right. Id say a set of custom steelies with 9" wide rims and a set of Hoosier A6's would suit me well for what I do.
  9. Centerlines arent rice and the Z is out at the shop getting re-studded so I cant get pics, but you only have to solder one wire, and cap the other.
  10. I will, here: http://centerlinewheels.com/sub_wheel.php?mw_id=35 any size your heart could possibly desire, these are my favs, but its all about personal preference, *they arent as expensive as you would think* http://centerlinewheels.com/wheels_detail.php?mw_id=35&sw_id=441
  11. lol yeah, go for it. The reason why the door chime and what not do it is because they are all interconnected on that one relay, so when you hook them together it makes a bigger load for the one relay, but if you did the link swap you should be fine.
  12. yeah, you wouldn't believe how much I get pulled over for not having a front plate. sheesh
  13. see, now that is a functionally low car, not like the "JAY DEEE UMMM" Z that people are obsessed over. I think that tank needs to be raised half a foot or so, other than that wow! Does anyone know the wheel/tire size?
  14. Title says it all. Need a 77-78 280z thermostat housing, the genius P.O installed a 280zx thermo housing so my sensors are out of order and the correct one doesn't fit like it should. PM me with offers, need A.S.A.P. Also, is there anyway to figure out what code my car is supposed to have on my AFM?
  15. lol no its good, I just have to be 100% sure not to have any liquids of any kind hit the floor in my newly paved garage. you could consider me castrated if it did, so I'm just worried about having to take off or tweaking fuel lines.
  16. I'm Kinda gonna miss those little guys. I could set my tool box on them and lift it into my hatch and what not. Which bolts did you loosen to drop the tank? this is going to be an undercover job, in my garage.
  17. my Z equiped with race numbers heh. I have new suspension and exhaust being put on, then wheels and tires coming soon. most likely bumper shave as well.
  18. I have read those wiring diagrams, and I have a 78 not a 77 Z car so the wiring is different. More importantly, where the fack is the Ballast at?!?!
  19. Thank you, that was the link I was looking for to finish this
  20. We all started somewhere, nobody was born with all the vast knowledge of cars and their mechanics. (except for The Stig, TonyD,BRAAP, and the other usualy suspects) Now, as you would expect, I'm not familiar with how things work in Kuwait. I would expect however that the easiest way of sourcing a LS1/T56 (engine gear box combo) would be from ebay.com or maybe a local engine building garage, or company? Either that or go junkyard hunting with your husband, maybe you will get a lucky break.
  21. If this were craiglist, I'd have put you on the scam list by the way your typing. Unless I'm mistaken, the T56 is the 6 speed "gear box" that he did say he was selling with the LS1, and I believe ls1tech is either a member of hybridz.org (where you are now) or is a website, either way I understand your from kuwait, I'm being reasonable and tolerant to the best of my 16 year old Irish abilities. That is all, Sean.
