  1. In January (the Challenger blew up on my b-day) I'll turn the ripe chronological age of 25, appearance age of 18, and feel like 50. But remember; It’s not the age it’s the mileage.
  2. I sure am glad you guys mentioned JB Weld, duct tape and zip ties. I was just going to slap some bondo on it and pray. But on a serious note, I don’t have any real sentimental attachment to the car other than the amount of time it took me to find one that was remotely close and reasonably priced (or so I thought at the time). As to my welding skills…yea that’s about it. But what better to learn on than something this bad, right? I may sit on this one over the winter since time is not an issue and see what comes up. As for the cost to fix it, most of the work I will do and since I don’t care how long it takes (to do it right) the expenses will be greatly spread out. I appreciate all of your opinions yet feared them too because I knew what was likely to be said. If anyone knows of a cheap better condition 240 (that should be easy) let me know. Thanks Matt
  3. Tell me, what do you guys think of this? Yes, that is the swaybar and the frame. Needless to say i will be cutting out the subframe to put in a slightly less rusted one. For plenty more beautiful pictures of ferrous oxide go here: http://www.mtsu.edu/~mdt2a/Datsun3.html

    Which movie?

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Knight Rider (TV show or the TV movie KR2000). Ok...not really.
  5. Nic, It looks like an older picture of Joe Pantoliano, the actor who played Cypher in the movie and who's picture was already there.
  6. I would be inclined to agree with Jeromio and Tim, the search function goes unused quite often. Perhaps those who fail to use it are just trying to find a direct answer as opposed to the numerous post that they would have to sift through while learning even more in the process. Just some food for thought. Oh, and as to the original question...do you mind the opti-spark distributor?
