  1. Thanks for the support guys. If not for this site I would have never gotten this far. And as far as it is that is not even half way...I have the drivers side to do. But having done it once before it should be easier, I think. As for the pieces I had to form them all, and any advice: Measure 5 times cut 1 time. Actually no all the Z's here are not that bad...they're worse. I knew from the start that it had lots of rust but little did I know. It's a good thing the pictures are not up close, because you might not say that
  2. At least I hope so. From these pics: http://www.mtsu.edu/~mdt2a/Datsun3.html To these:

    A Seat Again!

  4. As far as buying from them I plan on doing that very soon. I have spoke with Allen on the phone and he seems to be pretty nice. However I cannot attest to the quality, but perhaps someone else can. About the pictures, go to the "photo album" section and underneath the pages main header is a smaller bar that, on the right hand side says "Upload Photos" the rest is just clicking away.
  5. Try this site: http://www.alfaparts.net/datsun.html See if that helps.

  14. As far as finished pictures go I have none because that is how it looks right now. I did that welding this weekend. But I do have plenty more pictures of rust. And I too am wondering about the rockers, because the inside rear corner (pass side) of mine is shot.
  15. This is the reason I ask about the heat. So I know what you are going through.
  16. Did you have any trouble with the sheet metal warping under the welding heat? Either way what, brandkind of MIG welder were you using because those welds look great?
  17. I would assume that the group buy would include each order being shipped directly to the owner from Smoothline. Is that correct? Because I could use fenders and h-light buckets
  18. I can sympathize with you... http://www.mtsu.edu/~mdt2a/Datsun3.html As of this point I am still going to try to fix it as crazy as that sounds. It depends on your skill with a welder and fabrication, mine is limited but quickly expanding.
  19. Check around on http://www.Corral.net. It is a Mustang forum so you might find what your are looking for if no one else here has the info. You could also look at http://zcar.netdojo.com/main.htm, the web site for Al Silveira a member on here.
  20. Gene, When you say you modified alsil's mount a little..what do you mean? I have one of his mounts and have heard that the manifold sits quite high. Matt
