Guy, Your awesome! I thank you for your help. But after all that you just did for me I have more data. As I had said I have checked the injector ground, to ground using my continuity tester. Well guess what, I borrowed a gizmo that plugs into the fuel injector plug and blinks... Well it was blinking.. So the digital continuity tester doesn’t work for this application. Second I borrowed his fuel pressure gauge, and it showed I have low fuel pressure, by turning the key on and off I got it up to were it belonged.. Did not always hold,,, SO. Anyway I have hooked the fuel pump relay to the computer, and supplied it with switched power only..... I need to change that! Ok, one you talked about ALLDATA, I'm impressed that they provided data on what wires should have power etc.. but $25 a yr is a lot, once would be cool, but in a couple years that adds up.. Back to my problem, The car sorta starts now that I can see the fuel pressure and mess with the key until its good and pressurized... But it bangs and pops real bad.. Shoots fire out the headers.. I did check the wires and the optispark pictures to confirm that I could not have put it in wrong.. Even thou that’s the directions I'm thinking now... I'm sorry for giving you bad data, no one told me I could not count on my digital meter to check a fuel injector ground. I'm going to go and check my plug wires once more tonight quick make sure I have the optispark orientation correct... Please give me your email address, I have been working on a wiring diagram you may like... -

Thanks, I have the Helms owners manual, and did not see where the oil pressure unit hooks up, and I don't think the PCM sees the fuel pressure. If you find I'm wrong you will have solved my problem. I'm thinking I have optispark problems, what do u think about this aveune? Also the fuel pump does not come on when I'm hoding the key.... Terry -

Guy, Whats this talk about the oil sending unit? I do not have it hooked up. I thought it was for the gauges only.. Could this be my problem? I don't see a spot to hook it up at the computer. I have fuel pressure, I have not checked it because what I have found is that the computer is not grounding the fuel injectors... The fuel injectors are feed 12 volts, that is there, when the computer needs them to fire it grounds out the injector. I checked continuity from the injector ground side to the battery ground and turned the key, the meter never moved... -

I down loaded what I had already uploaded and it looked fine. Also I have been running datamasterEE to see the data codes and I can run the program while the car is turning over.. it even collects a graph while turning over... My fuel pump does the 2 sec run once in a while when I turn the key on and off, not everytime just some times, seems like that is a good sign.. -

It first reads the PCM and than you have a copy, than you change that copy and upload it., It erases what is in the PCM and writes your upgrade. I did not change much at all,, A lot of things on the computer seem to be working fine, I pulled the fuel rail out and watching the injectors nothing happens... Disabled the vats, egr and the a/c stuff -

Well, still no go, checked out my tps and its perfect.. I cleared the codes and tried to start it again and still not grounding of the fuel injectors by the computer... No codes either... The no codes stumps me, that must mean everything is working as it should.. now I have read the VATS will do this but I disabled the VATs using tunercat and even downloaded the file after uploading it and it showed me I had the vats box unchecked! ???????????? Bad computer? Does anyone think this could be the case? -

Tim, What do you think about the poping and banging when I shot fuel in the intake? I have spark, could my optispark be bad and do you know how to check it? -

Thanks Tim, do you know what drives the injectors? I would guess a crank shaft senor or something like that? -
Anyone, I'm ready to hear my 95 LT1 run but for some reason the PCM does not ground the injectors. I have double checked every hot and ground wire to the PCM and they are fine. made sure things were correct when key was in start mode also... When I spray fuel in the intake it pops and bang something horrible! I do not have the raditor hooked up or the VSS. but I can view the PCM useing tunercat and I have uploaded some changes such as disabling the VATS and the EGR..... I double checked all my spark plug wires, I received only one data code, it was for throttle opened to far or something like that, I did put the petal to the floor thinking I may have flooded it. I have power the injectors, but when I check the ground at them while turning the motor over nothing.... Any advice anyone???

Hey Guys, I have everything hooked up, I did not do anything with the VATS yet, can't find a solid answer in the search that tells me were to install the resistor... I have not hooked up the HO2S sensors, the plugs are just hanging.. Also there are a couple wires I have not hooked up to the Data link connector.. But other than that I would expect at least a small firing or something.. It spits and carries on when I hit it with starting fluid but not even acting like it was going to stay running.. What tool do I want that will tell me if a wire has 12 volts with out cutting it first? I have a fat pen that will light up and beep if I place it next to a 120 Volts anything like that for 12 volts? God I hope I did not mess up my computer... any advise on if I should buy turnercat or LT1 edit? I'm there so now is the time! -

Good luck! If your like me you will be enjoying yourself most the time! I just tried to start my LT1 and the dam thing wouldn't start! I worry so much about frying my computer.... I think I did everything right! So drop me a line, I have put a lot of work into drawing a wiring diagram of my complete car and motor...
