I went with the “toque†cam because it was my first engine build and it’s next home will be in my Jeep. The follow up engine for the Datsun will be a LS1 or destroked 350 (I want boost too). The number game will probably be close, me with the toque and him with the high end hp. But I know I’ll have him on the driver experience, he has a hard time with the adrenalin rush wile I live for it. He on the other hand has twice the income that I do, so he has more $$ to throw at this than I do. I do not doubt that he will have done the research on the K engine, I just don’t know if he is planning on doing any internal engine modifications or just bolting on. I seriously doubt he will be turning the wrench on this upgrade also, so I also have to wonder about the 3rd party support. He also weighs 50lbs heavier than me.

I’m preparing for the spring, my brother drives an ’02 Civic SI and he just got his turbo in last week. So now that he’s getting boost, he’s set his eyes on my “inferior†pushrod driven 280Z. My question is this, should I wire in some laughing gas for good measurement for this spring. His mods are as follows: Cold air intake Lowering springs/coilovers Cat back exhaust An extra 150lbs-200lbs of stereo Soon to come T3/T4 turbo (unknown boost and unknown intercooler) My mods: 305 SBC flat top pistons, port & polish, angled/oversized valves, “toque†cam, w/ plasma rings nothing forged Ground control coilovers Non-restrictive exhaust Cold air Lightweight flywheel, T5 Tranny No bumpers/windshield wiper motor, heater core, spare, basically striped but not scaled My brother has turned into a real prick, and becoming more and more of the typical Honda head. This is not a race that I can stand to loose, so if you guys think I have anything to worry about how much Nitrous and what setup would you guys recommend. If I do this I’m half tempted to plumb it in under the intake manifold.

Here is my plight. I recently purchased a house and with this house came a 40 x 72 barn. The barn is awesome, about 150 years old and still very solid. It’s all hand plane native timber wooden peg (no nails) construction. There are 4 levels, the bottom level it like a walk out basement where the cows stayed (concrete floor). The second floor is half pored concrete over wood (about a 2â€-4†cap) and the other half needs a new floor. The floor joist are 2’x 2’ x 40’ trees about 4’ on center. This is where I want my main shop area and where I’m going to turn a school bus into a car/Jeep hauler. I need to put a floor in this room that is inexpensive, strong, non-conductive, non-flammable, impact resistant, and non-pores (sp?). It needs to hold the weight of a school bus, not absorb the gas and oil I spill, not burn when I weld/cut, and still not break my wallet. I know that there have been many posts about garages in the past, but how many of them were for a second story one? I need ideas for this.

I removed my wiper motor, blades, and arms of my Z. I use Aquapel. It's like Rain-ex only it last 4 months insted of 4 days. I have no problem seeing in the rain, although I do have to stop at the gas stations once a night to clean the windsheild.

Personally I think SCC is a great mag, and do the best at being anti-rice and still keeping their sponsors happy. But what makes the mag so good for me are the writers. I have never pick up a mag that combined humor and tech as well as SCC dose. Thinking of what they did to the zero budget make my ride faster article still makes me laugh. Read that article where they destroy this car to prove the biggest anti-rice statement MORE WEIGHT = LESS POWER

Terry the car truly is a work of art, and few would argue about it being the most beautiful S30 to ever ware primer. I can only imagine it in paint. I can see if why you would never want to make a mold of it, but I would sell organs to have those lines on my Z. Ptss Terry you want a kidney?

To start things off I scored the entire suspension and below from an 85 300zx. Brakes, springs, struts, cv half shafts, rear end, cross member, and even the brake lines EVERYTHING. For $40 Now the bad. I got a tank full of bad gas with lots of floties from Gas America. It clogged my fuel filter in 20 miles and I’ve talked with their corporate and they told me they were willing to pay me back for the gas, and that’s it. I ran the 1st fuel filter for 3 years and when I replaced it after the engine rebuild it was clean. Well 500 miles into this new filter, no problems, 20 miles after my fill up, CLOGGED. Right now I’m in debate on weather to call the lawyer, run it through small claims court, or just call it a loss and clean everything. What do you guys think I should do

My '78 280z with a Z06 powertrain, dish pistons, two turbos, lil gas putting down 800hp-1000hp to the ground. Sub frame connectors, full cage, carbon fiber all around. AND PAYED FOR! Personally I feel the biggest gain from the legalization of marijuana would be turning the tide of the drug war. The money gained from the taxation of it would, if used properly could fund the war on drugs. Not to mention how it would free up $$ in the prison systems and law enforcement agencies to pursue “harder†drugs. The biggest problem here in Indiana is Meth. About once a week a meth head blows their house up here. I agree also that using pot for medical purposes is BS. And BTW it can be addicting to those with addictive personalities (??) just like not everyone who drinks is an alcoholic, some people just should not drink. Well some ppl should not smoke, they just don’t have the brain cells to spare (or the modivation).

When I was 20 I bought a new Jeep TJ and my driving record was so bad that my insurance rates were higher than my payment on a 19K note. But I’ve been a good boy sense then and my insurance cost less a year now than it did a month then.

At the shop we sweep out the customers cars, and you would be surprised how many ppl do partake. I just wonder if in my lifetime it will be decriminalized/legalized. That and what percentage of the population dose inhale, or has inhaled at one point in time in there life
