  1. To get back into the MS you will need MegaTune. Then you will need to configure MT to the setup you have (if you are running a MSS, ect) On other thing I had to do when I hooked up my LM1 is program the wideband to have a 0-5 Volt output.
  2. MSD all the way! Mine didn't want to run with the GM ignition... Installed an MSD, now it is 110%
  3. I have ZG's with the type II and it took some hacking and fiberglassing to get to look good... http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=2327&cat=500&page=1 but we also hacked up the skirts too... But I think it would work, with some time
  4. You know i really had no problems with juan at all i picked up his 240sx rear brake upgrade from his personal car some time ago, his communication was great. And I emailed him not that long ago inquiring about a fuel rail, he replied promptly, then I ended up needing a new spacer for my throttle body, I email him and he still had one I had it in my hands in 7 days. and that was a week ago. I was although sad to hear about him getting out of the datsun game...
  5. Sounds almost as bad as mine... I flew to Idaho, from manitoba, back when I was looking for a Z. I found a 280Zt the guy said, no rust the car runs great, just needs some paint (all faded), interior. Ya I get there no problems see the car, look it over, everything is in order, no real rust. So I am like I wanna take it for a drive. I hop in and this thing runs like absolute ****... Quite undriveable. I had planned on driving it home. Ya so I like you ended up passing on the car. And flying home empty handed and pocketed... Oh well was all for the better, a month later I came apon my 260. That was a much better expereance. Ended up borrowing my friend truck (Chev Full size 4x4) and a u-haul trailer (complete crap) and dragging it down to Denver, after work on a Friday and made it home for supper on Sunday with the car... The only bad is that my codriver and i had no sleep for 52hours... I will never do that again.
  6. I did mine 90deg off from yours 2003z. But the material looks to be the same...
  7. 73Turbo240z - The bumper could be easily mounted with nothing behind... Just by bolting it to the headlight buckets and making a bracket to the middle...but that made me feel some what nervous, knowing the drivers here in Manitoba :S... So I cut the ends off the factory 260 bumper (just after the vertical parts on either side, if that makes sense), then drained the oil out of the shocks to bring it in close to the body. I know I know but I figure it may save some of my front end in a small fender bender... I would guess that a stock 240 bumper would fit behind no problem... but that is what i figure from the pictures... Just one other thing about this bumper... It is great looking but the quality is... OK, not great, but OK... We had to reinforce a few areas because they were already starting to crack. This is before it was even fitted... ToplessZ - You are right that is the center of a 3-pice... but the 2 ends didn't line up at all. So we rounded off the ends and that is what you see. I didn't like it at first but it makes the rear of the car more aggressive with out the sides. Sparky - Thanks soo much, I actually just got it home from the body shop yesterday, but I am taking a week of vacation time to get as much done as I can next week... I would love to see it driving by the end of the month... but as long as it is by the end of next i will be very happy.
  8. This is my 260 with the type 3. The bumper makes the tow hooks useless. I ended up making my own grill. I love it. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=3026&cat=500&page=1
  9. I have the ultra-flow as well! And I love it. Not too loud (even with 3" piping front to back) but still has a nice bark though at the top of the RPM range. I would do it again at least.
  10. I just found that it will bolt up but the front bearing carrier is larger and would have to be machined larger... now is the input shaft the same length? Here is the reason, I am thinking of the T56. The one used as a upgrade for mustangs is usually the .63 6th. Now as an upgrade for the Mustang you can pickup a T56 with a slightly longer input shaft and an adapter plate the bolts the trans to the bell housing. Now if this is the case then the upgrade seems more reasonable, at least when you compare it to the G-Force upgrade at 2500.
  11. From my searches it seems that it is possible that a mustang T5 would bolt up to the Nissan Bell housing. Is this the case? I know that you would need to do a custom clutch and driveshaft, but what i am wondering is if it would bolt up and if the input shaft is the correct length.
  12. I didnt' see it but, since the last Fifth Gear, I was thinking more about electric cars... Venturi Fetish....http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/venturi_fetish.asp
  13. That sounds really good actually. If you find yours I would be very interested, or just let me know where you picked it up. I was thinking that would probably be the cheap and easy solution. Other wise I may have to take aux's advice, witch doesn't seem that bad either.
  14. I am installing the Autometer Speedometer (the electronic version)... How is everyone working this out... dose the autometer sender work? http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp&autofilter=1&Ntt=5292&N=0&part=ATM%2D5292&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch I am using the B/W T5...
  15. I personally went to a junkyard and picked up some from some GM V6... Even had the cylinder #'s on the connector... Cost me all of 5 bucks (that included a bunch of other sensors as well...
  16. Kinda sounds like a problem with your CD or CDROM.... I have also had this error with bad ram.... but unfortunately the error is sort of ambiguous, and could mean anything.
  17. Sounds very good..... I have been thinking about how cool one of them would be with a turbo R1 motor or a hayabusa. Just think of how that would sound Hurby blowing past at 12000 RPM hehehe
  18. That is very sweet, saw that posted on WPG Hights. I really hope to see your car around this year!!
