  1. Sorry to hijack this thread, but does anyone have a link to the above Z drawing?
  2. Hey guys, I am looking for a JTR mount kit for SBC into an S30 Z. A complete kit is preferable, but bits & pieces are ok. Thanks, Jason
  3. Hey guys, I have an opportunity to grab this cam/lifters for cheap. The problem is, I can't seem to find much info on it. I don't have the part # yet either. Are any of you familiar with this cam? Would it need a stall converter? This would be for my mild SBC/powerglide in my '78 Z. Thanks in advance, Jason
  4. I remember hearing about these OHC kits for the SBC a few years back. Very interesting, check out this link...http://www.aardemasohc.net/index_files/Page313.htm
  5. Josh, you must be reading my mind. The plan is to get him into racing if he likes it. I don't want to force him though. He loves going to the drags and monster truck shows, so I think he will love it. I would like to start with a regular type of cart (slow), then move up from there. Yup, now that looks like alot of fun! I'd get one too and teach him how to drive. Then bring him down and we will let him take a spin in the mud pit in the '33 with the alky 509 slingin' some mud! I think we will take you up on that Doc. Sounds like a blast.
  6. Thanks for the offer, but Tacoma is a bit far to travel from Denver.
  7. Hey Guys, I am looking for a cheap fixer-up go cart for my 9 year old son. He is finally showing interest in mechanical things, yay. I thought this would be a great project for him & I, and a great learning experience for him. Preferably a 2 seater, but single is okay also. I have 2 engines, so engineless would be ok. So, if you know of one, please let me know. Thans, Jason
  8. I have until now, been using an early 2004 era gateway 17" CRT monitor. Wow, what a difference, this new one rocks! Loving it, except for the small text on the toolbars.
  9. ^Thanks guys! I set the resolution to 1920X1080, pics look much better now. However, the text size came out small. I played with the text adjustments and zoomed in to 125%. When I view the forums here and elsewhere it is all good, except for the toolbars, where the text is still small. Any more ideas? View the montior here: http://www.hannspree.com/US/product_detail.aspx?id=25977&c=25963 Thanks
  10. Santa was nice enough to bring me a new 23" flatscreen monitor. It is a Hannspree HF237. Really bright, really wide. Question: All the pics look a bit wide (stretched). I tried playing with the resolution settings a bit, then decided I should ask here before I screw something up. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jason
  11. Ooops, I didn't mean for it to sound like it was mine. I got it via my Mom's email.
  12. "Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories....but two things made me take it down. First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."
  13. Hey Guys, Well I had an accident in our Corolla and it is totaled. I am trying to find a small to mid-size automatic 4 door car or small SUV. The closer to Denver the better. If you happen to know of one for sale please let me know by posting here or pm. I have about $3500.00 to work with. It is not alot, but it is what it is. Thanks for reading, Jason
  14. I am looking at buying a Corolla vin# 1NXBR38E63Z110589 Thanks for your time Jason
  15. These are too funny! The second vid should be required viewing for new members, followed by testing.
  16. Doc, sorry for the hard luck on the engine. Was this the one for the Jeep or the claimer engine?
  17. Wow, Garyville, I used to work there for 2 years. My sted-dad still does. It's a nice plant, heavy on the "polotics".
  18. Hey jbk do you still have that timing chain cover?!!? If you do please message me as soon as humanly possible!!!

  19. Along with the parents for raising him that way!
  20. Eargasmic, a new term? I think that Z sounds great!
  21. Yeah, he has the wii, and a gamecube. We are actually looking into just downloading some games as mentioned. We went looking at some wireless routers tonight to hook the wii to the internet.
