i think it depends on the type of metal you use and its resiliency to bending. some can "stretch" better than others so to speak.

nice very nice. is there a benefit to having them siamesed? in my case my horns are spaced far enough not to do that, but it could be done if there is a benefit to it.

thanks guys. i'm still talking to the seller to see if its possible. i'll be using the 10.5"s for the rear and swapping out the 12" lip for a 9.5". if this isn't possible i'll be more than happy to give you guys the contact number of this guy.

sorry for the poor quality.. this probably isn't the most accurate of measures but hopefully this works. JustinOlson and 74_5.0L_Z both those sites are pretty sweet. i think i might order some horns of appropriate length (any suggestions?) and design some flanges (or a one piece flange for them all) using emachineshop and weld it all together. thanks keep the ideas coming!

Mike, thanks for that link. If you recommend it, I'll go for it. How would I go about cleaning/prepping it before paint? BTW, i finally got around to taking parts off to get powdercoated. I've got a bunch of very small parts and that entire hood hinge assembly that I'd like to do. I would send the radiator, but it would cost too much to ship. Could I send you a pic of the items for a price quote? The transmission mounts are one thing I'd like to do.. but it has rubber on it. Can you still do these? Thanks again

my radiator is bone dry and butt ugly. what can i do to it to safely clean it up without damagine it. its all metal so can i take it to a powder coater to have everything but the gills redone?

damn . how about the rears, 12" is ok though with ZG's right? hey i just thought about it... these are 3 piece wheels. could i just order 9.5" middles for the front? this is the reason i'm sad. those would look so damn good.....

I have a 280z on lowering springs but otherwise stock suspension. The description of the wheels states that "all 4 on are 4.5 B.C. 2 at 10.5 inch wide, 3.75 backside. 2 at 12 inch wide, 5.25 inch backside" i get that 2 are 12" wide and 2 are 10.5" wide. are the 3.75 and 5.25 numbers for back spacing? btw I would fit these under ZG flares. Thanks!

this car isn't my daily driver, so to lessen weight i removed mine as well but haven't run the car yet. my heater and a/c components were shot anyway, so what the heck. its strictly a fair weather car as well since i dont have wipers either. i dont plan on being in the rain with this car if i can help it! in the event that it gets cold... i think i may get a 12v inverter and mount a small home space heater somewhere lol
