  1. The BIOS should recognize the drive and if it's old, will limit you to a certain partition size I think... Either way, you don't have any usable files on the new drive, and if your old drive doesn't make it back, you're screwed for Tuesday. Any chance you can stick the old drive in an external USB/Firewire enclosure and hook it up to a friend's computer? How much are you being charged for the data recovery? I hear that's expensive as hell! Good luck Owen
  2. Cool link, I put LEDs in mine but they're not wide angle. I was thinking about drilling holes around the circumference of the back side of the gauge until I saw this. Can't wait for pix! Owen
  3. Ooh, it's on sale too! If only it was a local store price... So how did the exhaust tubing work out? Owen
  4. Can you try again and see if it works? And damn Jeronimo, a f-ing weld broke??? Owen
  5. Nice! I like the rivets. And it looks like you have room for about 12 more gauges there Owen
  6. Thanks, I thought I had pix uploaded somewhere but they're gone. Basically all I did was glue some foam onto the MSA dam and shave it to my desired shape. Then it's all wet layup from there. Owen
  7. What's the scoop on the jack screw, strong enough to use on a control arm? Owen
  8. Any progress on this, does the bender work on thin-wall exhaust tubing? Owen
  9. I never even noticed them until today!
  10. No experience for me either, besides bolting on exhausts and cutting springs to lower cars! Now I make my own fiberglass parts, weld, paint, etc. Owen
  11. I've got one gray dot... Pissing too many people off with my sig??? Too bad, I toned it down too...
  12. Gotta represent! Thing is, I thought I had a bunch of stickers, but was wrong. So I printed out the logos on clear sheet used for those overhead projector-presentations and then cut them out:-) Mainly, it was the bad paint job I was trying to cover up. I used the Mirrachrome stuff from Alsa corp. and the chrome was ok but the clear they provide, man, that stuff dries as soon as it hits the air! Kinda hard to see in the pix, but I cut ovals in the corners of the bumper and added some clear lenses and LEDs. 9 superbrite LEDs aren't very bright at all! The ends of the bumper aren't mounted yet, that's why it looks crooked. Owen
  13. As answered already, the airdam is a custom piece I built. I thought about making another design and offering it for sale, but anyone who knows me, knows I don't have the time! Owen
  14. The width should be no problem to cover, and as you said, just sand the plastic flat. The cover doesn't fit snugly out of the box anyway, I had to trim some of the openings for the AC ducts, glue it and then hold it down til it dried. Owen
  15. Forgot to update y'all on my new air dam. Not sanded yet...and it didn't quite come out the way I wanted to. Maybe one day when I have time again I will re-do it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/v8z/zcar/myv8z-05-04-23msa-69.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/v8z/zcar/myv8z-05-04-23msa-64.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v609/v8z/zcar/myv8z-05-04-23msa-63.jpg Owen
  16. Yeah, most people who have them around here are ghetto...but I like the viewing area they provide, especially in a Z! I want to put one in my Z32 but don't want to lose use of the sun visors. Owen
  17. Yup, sanded and painted with single stage black! Owen
  18. I MAY be able to get you a set, PM me with your requirements (offset, etc.) Owen
  19. Thanks Terry coming from you (the Master) it's a great compliment. My wheel is 12" I think, it's a D-shaped one. Owen
  20. That thing is huge! Just pull out the passenger seat and mount it there:-) So I guess no intercooling huh?
