I'm using the metric Summit ones, 3" long but with my wheels, they don't stick out at all. I did have trouble find the right wheel locks, because of the length. I wanted open ended ones but the people at Gorrilla are idiots and only refer you to a local shop who says "duh...???" I ordered the right conical ones from Summit and ground off the ends to make them open-ended. They are tack welded to the hub/stub axle from behind. If anyone's using Kyokugens, I hear the splines for the locks wear out or the keys brake easily, many complaints. FYI. Owen

I said this in another post but my '91 300ZX TT pased WAY under average numbers, turned out there was a hole in the bottom of the cat. If you have an idiot conducting the smog test, he won't think twice about the low numbers. So if you're driving in a group of 10 cars down the road, how do they know it's your car that's polluting? It'd take some pretty good aiming of the laser, and a person to decide which car to shoot. Now that's discrimination! Sounds like exhaust dumps which can be controlled from within the car are in my future.... Owen

So if you see a remote sensing thing (anyone know what to look for?) drop it into neutral and roll by with the throttle closed? How does the whole smog exempt thing come into play? Thanks Mark! tonycharger72, The Z32 iron calipers are the same 280x30mm as the R32. Unless these are going on an all-out race Z, the alumi Z32 calipers should be fine, no? Say for street duty and occasional strip/track use? My Z32 is like 4400lbs! Owen

I'm not sure what you mean about right to left, but from what I've read, the NA manis are the same as turbo. If you've got all that stuff off, might want to do a search on TTnet. for water hose mods, etc. to the manifold. Owen

As high as I can get with VHS capture! I've been capturing them at 1 hour speed (one movie is a little longer than that, so two discs.) Then putting them together on my PC and then DVD shrinking them. That's why it's taking me a while to get re-started in this process. I'll let everyone know when they're all done, had to re-do some of them. Owen

Those things weigh less than the Toyota ones tho...I was surprised as hell when I pulled one off my Z32. But as said above, too much customization required vs. the bolt on Toyota calipers. Owen
