Thanks to everyone offering to make copies, but as with any business, I'd like to keep it mine I actually went and got brand new original VHS movies from Japan for the best quality when converting them to DVD. Nothing is cheap in Japan as anyone well knows! So I'm trying to recover the costs of the tapes + hardware. Once all the copies are made, I will probably be selling the original tapes on ebay or something. Owen

I know the guys who bought VHS copies a while ago had the crappy quality of 3 movies per tape at EP speed. $5 per disc and add $5 (to whatever total) to cover shipping for US orders. Wow people still want these? I haven't been advertising (them being ill*gal copies and all) but have also been transferring them to DVD, with the final goal of adding subtitles. That is gonna take a while. So, I can offer VHS copies or DVD copies with no subtitles. Discs will be DVD-R, not guranteed to play but you can always rip and re-author/burn. As of now, I'll charge the same for tape or DVD. PM me if you're interested. Owen

If I were to quit my job without giving notice, how would I handle the tax stuff? I mean, I'd need to notify the government that I'm not working there anymore wouldn't I? Sucks! Fight it if you can! Same thing happened to me on an on-ramp in my CRX, but I actually pulled over to let the truck (who was forcing his way) go by. He dragged his tire along the side of my car and probably didn't even know it...I filed a police report and they came back saying they weren't aware of any such incident. Can you switch maps on the fly or do you have to shut down the Palm/laptop/car? It would be cool to be able to switch from power mode to economy mode at the touch of a button. Owen

I don't have any technical info to add either, just wanted to mention that my R200VLSD (Q45) is mounted similar to yours, in the first pix. That's my page by the way, I was taught that it's not an R230...Anyway, I don't have any pix of my front mount, but it was the only thing I could come up with without losing (any more) ground clearance. I just don't have the front to back bars going all the way back to the uprights. I'm also not using the lower front bar, need to add that one day. Remember to save room for your parking brake cable if you're using it. I think my mustache bar holes are too low, my diff flanges hit the control arms-no wonder my car would stall when rolling at idle speed. I've taken out the upper washer on the mustache bar but no good...I may switch to something like Terry's as a "while I'm at it" project. Your mounts and everything look cool, but the machining must be expensive, why not go to a mount like Terry's and engineer in some compliance for your rear diff mounting? Would be a lot cheaper in my opinion. You asked for free 3D software, I think Blender is really popular. Owen
