NISSAN DATA SCAN does not work with APEXI or any other stand alone ECU as all the addresses are different. I distribute these and cant run the software on my RB20DET due to the very reason. But it will work on rechipped ECUs like JW. Contact me off this thread if you are interested.

What Kind of car!!!!! If by chance its an S30 the speedo and Odometer work off the same cable, the one you may have tightened ....... The reverse switch has nothing to do with this cable. Be more detailed.................................

Yup...exactly the type of system I had in mind. Nissan has a similar setup on some of their cars. I almost always have the windows down...just cant imagine the windows rolled up....unless of course it is raining like crazy. And for what it worth....I have taken it out in the rain. .... Even tracked it on a soaked fun filled day.

I just finished and fired up a low budget KA24e-T track (lapping) build last fall! Great fun ....stock block, log manifold, Z31 turbo..used E-manage. ...no intercooler.... yet! ( have a ebay used rb IC sitting in the wings) Stock ECU and injectors should run about 6-7psi..... Invested a total of $350. At this point I plan to run as is just to see what happens. Then the intercooler injectors and such will go on. Current goal is 200-225 hp. Final goal is 300hp. The early cars were non-OBD but if you find a Stanza ECU its a diect plug in and OBD capability can be had. Great econo fun....first lapping day is comming fast for Mosport in May! Just picked up my used ebay RA1s from a spec miata car,,,,even the tires are heat cycled! Sorry will stop the rant now.....got carried away......... ........... my bad.....

Be careful....these kits need a minimum amount of room under the window for installation. Something like 5 inches. The window on a S30 pretty much goes to the bottom of the door frame'...in fact there is a rubber stop the windows bottoms to. I would expect that would rule these out. One make has the motor off-set to the side though....but it still may be tight. There is also have a flat and curved glass version. The Datsun has a slight curve to the glass so its best to understand thier definition of "flat". This thread has me itching to install PW and PDL...all on one remote...doors unlock and windows go down. AutoLoc has that option!

I expect other auto manufacturers will drop out of motorsport if this economy hicup doesnt get better soon. They are merely trying to survive by watching their expenses.

What has changed at Hybridz? All of a sudden I need to press the back space key 3 times to return to the previous page. Hybridz is the only website that I need to do this with. Its like there are hidden pages or stages that I have to work through to get to the previous page. Any ideas?
