lubu
Does anyone know what Z those cvs came from? They look a bit long for the 280zxt's, Im thinking of the z31 NA cvs but Im not sure, could be z32? The reason I ask is I want to source the bolts for the cv to the flange. Thanks
nullbound
They appear to be 280zxt, but it's hard to tell from a picture. Measure the length to know for sure which axles they are. Read this page for length info on the 280zxt and 300zx axles: http://zhome.com/rnt/FordPower/HalfShaft.html
inline6
Those are 280zx ones. These are z31: z31 axles

The n/a z31 axles look like the 280zx turbo axles, but are longer. Click the link I posted above for more info.
lubu
Thanks guys, I'll confirm after when they are here. As for the bolts, should I order them from Nissan or any high tensile bolts will do?
zcarnut
... As for the bolts, should I order them from Nissan or any high tensile bolts will do? The bolts are special. They are shoulder bolts with nylon lock nuts. Do not sub! BTW, the easiest way to tell the difference between the 280ZX turbo axle and the Z31 non-turbo axle is the height difference of the dimple on the grease shield. cygnusx1
I used high grade studs and bolts frrom McMaster. There are six on each side. They have a HUGE safety factor. You can use a nylock nut, or just some locktite. It's not THAT critical.
