richracing
Good news about the flares, after some pay pal dispute threats he put the flares in the mail and have me a legit taking number... So carbon fiber flares and wheels are on the way.

helghast7
Nice, looking great, everything looks snug as a bug in a rug in that engine bay.
richracing
Updated engine bay pic. I.C. piping finished and BOV in place. ...and the wheels are finished and on the way.
dmoses
I am in Augusta too. We'll have to catch up with each other some time. Look for an orange 280 slammed on Megan coils around town.

Nelsonian
Rich, your car looks so much more menacing with the new wider wheels. I'm loving your build.
ZT-R
I got my rear flares the other day too looking good.
richracing
Thanks! Fun fact... The guy who built these wheels for me, Jon from NewGen Wheels, is starting a branch off called Forged Union, which will be marked toward VIP and tuner style. My set is the first of what will be called the Revilution. Pretty cool!
CrayZ
Only thing cooler than a LS s30 is an RB s30.. If you dont mind me asking what did those wheels run you? im looking for a new set with a custom off set but cant seem to find anyone or style i like. I dont need a 3 peice wheel or anything crazy but i do want a specific design and a nice wide wheel.
richracing
Mine were $650 each. Look up NewGen wheels on facebook and shoot him a message. If you are willing to pay that much, I bet he could help you design a set since he is looking for ideas to start his new line of wheels. CrayZ
I dont have facebook. Is this the same guy? http://www.newgenwheels.com/Styles.php Also your wheels are 18x10 in the rear with a -40 offset right? are you having any issues with rubbing? did you do anything extra to fit a wheel that size? what size rubber is that in the rear, looks sick! richracing
Yea that's him. 18x10 -40 in the rear with a 265 tire. I haven't driven it yet since there is more to be done, but i don't foresee any issues with rubbing. That size fits perfect with the rear BAMF flares. However the BAMF flares in the front are about an inch too wide for the 18x9 -25, so I might just throw some spacers on the fronts and call it a day. ZT-R
Im spinning a 17x10.5 on regular flares in the rear on a 295, hope this bamf flare i can rock a 12.5 or 12.75 on 315 or
CrayZ
If i could fit 315's and ZG flares i would be happy as hell Edited May 7, 2013 by CrayZ

RB26powered74zcar
I can't see how these flares wouldn't get torn off by the tire on the first good bump, or dumping of the clutch. Mine rub occasionally and they have quite a bit of space between tire and bamf flare.
richracing
This is not going to be the ride height. Im going to raise it up a bit.
