Administrators SuperDan Posted November 13, 2012 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2012 Hi All, Please reply to this post if you are having any issues with the new forum software. If you get any error messages please post that also as it helps alot. The one outstanding issue that I still know of is slowness when making new posts or using PM. After you hit "Post new Topic" it seems to just hang. Most of the time it will post but either takes forever or does not update the screen with the new information. I will be working on that later tonight. Thanks, Dan

BluDestiny
Not sure if this is just me, but I can't enlarge any of the thumbnail pictures in threads anymore. or is there a trick to this now?

NewZed
Pictures enlarge fine, with a click on the thumbnail, using Chrome, IE8 and Firefox on an XP OS. The "Next" button is even back and working. This is on a desk top computer, not a phone or mobile. I opened ZFire's humongous pictures in this thread - http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/108965-datsun-280z-t5-transmission-swap-kit/#entry1028363 Just adding a data point... Leon
I can't enlarge most pics using IE9 or Firefox, nor can I open them in a new window.
NewZed
I can't enlarge most pics using IE9 or Firefox, nor can I open them in a new window. Which operating system? My Windows XP system is old, maybe the problems are with the new OS's.

cockerstar
They weren't working for me, but some are working just fine now. Maybe it is fixed??! I am having problems formatting a link in a PM right now. edit: it isn't working here either. We're still operating with BB Code, right? Replace "()" with "[]": (url=http://www.thesportingstore.com/SanMar_EPDD/PRODUCT_IMAGE/C865.jpg)link(/url) [url=http://www.thesportingstore.com/SanMar_EPDD/PRODUCT_IMAGE/C865.jpg]link[/url] Edited November 14, 2012 by cockerstar
Gollum
I'm still not able to enlarge pictures. Seems to be just a chrome issue for me. IE9 enlarges just fine. My specs Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 Bit Chrome Version 23.0.1271.64 m Need any other info?
Administrators SuperDan Posted November 15, 2012 Author Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2012 Hmm. I cannot replicate this problem. I have tried it from work using IE8, from home using IE9 and another laptop using Chrome (Version 23.0.1271.64 m) and it all works fine. Gollum
Hmmm... maybe a Java issue? I checked and both IE and Chrome are seeing 1.7.0_09 which I believe to be the latest.
BluDestiny
Ok well the pictures in the link Newzed posted enlarge fine. They open up like the picture was uploaded to the site, not using a third party picture host such as photobucket or something. The pictures in this thread though I can not open or do anything with: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/109944-its-a-drifted-bastard-280zx/ The mouse icon does turn to a hand, like something is going to happen, but when I click nothing happens. cockerstar
They're opening for me as well with chrome, although it's Version 22.0.1229.94 m (not most current).
TimZ
Not a huge deal, but I'm finding that the second level of the quick links at the top of each post, like the one that says HybridZ → General → Site Support at the top of this post doesn't work. In other words, the link to the levels called "Technical", "General", etc appear to be broken. I've seen this in Chrome and IE9 under Win7

I have yet to find a setting that controls it.
Gollum
Picture enlargement seems to be working now for me. There was one point, I think last Friday that I could enlarge some in one thread, but not some others. Today though I checked a thread I knew I couldn't enlarge pics in before and it worked fine.
