mattd428
So the boss man decided today was an optional work day so I brought the z to work and did a little bit of work on it. Hot side is done other than the down pipe and waste gate exit. Havent put the radiator in yet so dont even know if it will fit. But will most likely need to be moved forward. Only took about 10 hours to get it done.

mattd428
Got most of the cold side done. Still have to weld in the blow off valve and order a coupler. Other than that just have to take the pieces to work and put the ridges back on so the couplers wont blow off. Now comes the backhalf...................f**k. EastTnZ
Dang that looks awesome! Hope you wrap the upper radiator hose with a heat shield sleeve, looks like it'll be close! Awesome fab work though and someday I may add some boost... sub'd Can't wait for dyno numbers and 1/4 mile times! mattd428
Looks like the upper radiator hose inlet will be moved towards the passengers side. All the exhaust will be heat wrapped so hopefully it wont be too bad. Dyno will be a little while.

EastTnZ
Sweet which type of flares? And what brand are the wheels? Should be a good start to traction for the new setup! Either way sweet!
mattd428
Trying to avoid flares but more than likely just make some metal ones. Wheels are replica fr500 mustang rims.
Domzs
Skip the flares , send them straight to me . I'm telling you , they'll look better on my Z31 turbo .
socorob
What backspaces, and how close do they come to the suspension?
mattd428
Keep dreaming dom. 5.95" back spacing the fronts will clear with about 1/4" spacer rears are 6.82". But keep in mind Im using z31 front hubs and they are 3/8 wider on each side than the stock hubs.
