Badler
Yeah the wheels are a bit big (even if we can't figure out exactly how big), but try finding DOT tires for 16x9.5 (Thank god for BFG Sport Comp 2s) and you can appreciate why he may have gone that way. RPMS
I have to wonder how many of these big-dollar bidders back out after the auction. $35,000 for a Z, even a really nicely modified one, seems... how to say this politely... crazy? Maybe it's just because I've built them up myself, but....wow.
texis30O
Then if you have built one you know that it takes every bit of 35k to build on right and not cut corners........
RPMS
True, you can spend a heck of a lot of money building a car, but how many people who spend that kind of money get it back out when they sell? 260DET
You don't build a hybridZ to sell or get your money back, it's built to be a keeper. And maybe a reminder of how quickly money can disappear
dsommer
^^^ Amen! But I don't know if I'm going to keep her, other interests. Sure I'll regret it down the road. But then again maybe put it in cold storage and wait another 10-15 years, The cars will be darn near extinct by then except for the occasional barn find and restored cars. Just my thoughts.
