how do you install energy suspension front endlinks and bushings?

Recommended Posts

The factory link is not long enough for the poly bushings. We had to buy a new end-link kit that came with the center bolt and support washers. The "speed" section at your local auto parts store should have a universal end-link kit, complete with poly bushings. JEGS or Summit has them as well.

I shaved down the non height interfering bushings, the very bottom one and the very top one. I think the answer though is to go get a longer bolt.

Or, if the bolt has the spacer in the middle, you can cut 1/4" off the spacer, and then run a die down the bolt to add 1/4" -1/2" of threads. Shortens the assembly marginally, but allows you to get it started. Also, remember not to overtighten or you will split your bushings.
